Why are the graphics so crappy?

Anyhoo, I like the fact that the Joker points out Superman's biggest flaw: he's gullible. That is actually one of the main reasons I don't like Superman. He's an idiot.

No he's not

Fantastic counter argument! Bravo!
See, people. THIS is how you keep a mature discussion going!

Perhaps you could provide with some evidence to back up this statement? You know, so your argument appears just a bit more believable.

Lose the attitude. Superman has a near genius level intellect which has been demonstrated over and over again. Just because hes not a murderer doesnt mean hes naive or stupid.

Superman is a dope. Debating this is like debating Batman's favorite color.

Just to comment on the Graphics.

I'm a little disappointed, Graphics aren't everything (most of my favourite games are PS2-Gamecube era) but they do mean something, The whole "GRAFIX R MEANINGLESS" thing has gotten pretty pretentious if you ask me.

The game in gameplay looks great, and sometimes they look good in cutscenes but they're very uneven..its like some things got more attention than others.

Throughout production I kept saying into myself "they'l get better when the game launches" but it doesn't look like they will.

Overall, this won't distract from my enjoyment of the game but expect critics to knock off a few points for presentation.

My 2 cents.

That's a NRS production hallmark at this point.

If this story is going to be basically Infinite Crisis merged with Red Son, then I will not exactly be impressed. Do not let it be Cry for Justice or Amazons Attack, please!

Read the comic books, and the whole argument of killing/not killing....ehhh.

Truth be told, this is an inherent flaw in the comic book system. In reality the chances of Joker being killed by cop, bystander etc. are pretty high since everyone hates the guy.

Not to mention, he is not legally insane. The whole pedestal on which people put the Joker is a sham. The guy would be legally sentenced to death quite easily.

The problem is, you like the Joker, so you cannot kill him. Ergo, Batman cannot kill him or neither can others. Which leads to bodies on top of bodies on top of bodies for the Joker...

it's just that writers have no notion of what insanity, and being mentally ill, disturbed is exactly.

At which point I would like to point out that the Batman worship is quite annoying. I have just finished Wargames, No Man's Land and Death of the Family, and while most of it is good...

Batman is an asshole manchild.

Hey, I don't follow the comic books very closely, but does Batman do anything to stop the judges, cops, and other law enforcement from sentencing the Joker to death or taking proper measures to make sure he'll never go free again? And if he doesn't then why don't they sentence him to death or something? If you ask me that's more of a shortcoming on Gotham's justice system not properly dealing with criminals than it is the fault of a non-licensed hi-tech crime fighting vigilante for not executing a villain on the spot.

Anyways, the problem with this intro is really with the voice acting, not the graphics. Don't get me wrong, the actors seem to have voices that match up perfectly with the characters. The Joker is pretty much perfect, but Superman should have way more drama in his voice. He just lost his beloved wife and unborn child and the entire city he protected all this time. And apparently the Joker used him to get it done. He should be WAY beyond confrontational with Joker. He should be screaming, shouting, on the verge of tears, mercilessly beating the Joker's face to a bloody pulp. He should be throwing Bruce aside as soon as Bruce takes one step in his direction.

And Bruce, his was okay, but he should have been more like the "WHERE ARE THEY!!!" scene from the Dark Knight. Not with that voice, but with that attitude, shouting and what not. He was the first one to hear about Clark's child. He was going to be the godfather. And for god's sake, it was his arch enemy that killed a million people!

A realistic art style like this does require really good graphics for it to get the job done, and I think it's a bit lacking. But really, the problem is that these superheroes are way to mellow that they just royally failed at their number one goal to stop crime and protect humanity.

He has an awfully compelling plea for insanity.
Unfortunately, he also has a backdoor out of Arkham Asylum, too.
