Well, Aquaman apparantly has caught the eye of Boon for some time now, remember back before MKvsDCU came out, they revealled a picture of him summoning a shark to eat Cyrax or something like that, and before that was constantly talking about Aquaman. If I'm not mistaken Plasticman was another character he talked a good bit about, but I think it was because that was not just a hero game but a MK game where he wouldn't feel at home lol.

I would almost place money on the characters you mentioned being included: Aquaman, Green Arrow, Plasticman, Hawkman, and MAYBE Azrael since he was pretty kewl in Batman Arkham City (YET, there's a lot of better pics for Batman villains: Poison Ivy, Joker, Scarecrow, Catwoman, Bane, Killer Croc, Penguin, and Mr. Freeze).

I'd practically guarantee Aquaman and Green Arrow, also would pretty much guarantee either Hawkman or Hawkgirl; both could be very different from eachother.

I do see some secondary picks for this game: Zatanna, Red Tornado, Vixen, Black Canary, and even Despero (well he actually was along with Cheetah in that old SNES game, but NRS could really justify him a lot better I mean he's like DC's Blackheart/Mephisto character). I just pray that Poison Ivy makes it over anyone, we've never seen a fighting game character that could manipulate plants and being the background is going to play along this time, her, Black Canary, Zatanna, Plasticman, and Red Tornado could really do some unique tricks.

Dex-Starr and Monsieur Mallah. One is lolcat in rage form, the other is a homosexual French gorilla with a beret and sub-machine guns.

Ooh, and Mr. Tawky-Tawny. The modern version is kick-ass. EDIT: Just realized that all of my suggestions are animal-based. Weird.

Squirrel Green Lantern as a hidden boss

Green Arrow and Hawkman are a lock. Don't even worry about them.

I'm more concerned about Martian Manhunter not making the cut. He's been getting the shaft in the comics lately.

Green Lantern, The Joker, Captain Marvel, Aquaman, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Doomsday, Sinestro, Catwoman, and Green Arrow are all locks to be included.

Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, Darkseid, Captain Cold, Aquaman, Hawkman (and or Hawkgirl), Black Canary, Black Adam, are more than likely included.

Plastic Man, Red Tornado, Black Manta, Lobo, and Cheetah are have a possibility also.

I think Aquaman is a cert, and i can't wait to see what they do with him

For hilarity they should include arm fall off boy. If this game gets a Roster the size of MK9s we will be seeing plenty of obscure characters.

I'll be pretty disappointed if Sonny Sumo doesn't turn up.

Did you just call Captain America and Thor B-Listers?

By that, I mean in the public eye. Examples of A-Listers are Superman, Batman, Spider-Man Hulk ect. The most well known to the public. Iron Man used to be a B-Lister but thanks to the first movie came out. Now, everyone knows about Iron Man. Thanks to The Avengers, everyone knows who Captain America and Thor are.
