MK Tournament RPG Thread

Note: Wasn't sure where to post this, so I picked the general discussion thread.
This thread is for a RPG (Role Playing Game, for the whole 2 of you who don't know what RPG's are) based on the Mortal Kombat Series, and the whole idea of the tournament itself...mostly.
Let me explain the basic things first.
HOW TO JOIN
Easy, think of an MK Character, go to the MK Wiki if you really have to, (though most shouldn't have to) and post in here, saying you want that character, like this...
ElderGod: I'd like to reserve Sub-Zero for the RPG.
And as long as that character isn't taken, you can have them for use.
HOW TO PLAY
The game works on one central theme, being put in a situation, and making actions to advance. For Example, you could be playing as Quan Chi and trying to fool Scorpion (Bad Example, but one nonetheless) into thinking Sub-Zero killed his clan and family. You, as Quan Chi, need to take actions, such as making an illusion image (Like MK9) or simply talking would be an action, and I, who represent the Elder Gods and who ever is NOT controlled by a user, would decide if you succeed or fail.
BATTLES
Battles work basically the same way, though you have two new functions, two meters!
HP: Stands for Health Points, I'm sure I don't need to explain, but it...(GASP
) is your health! Lose it, and you lose the battle.
SP: Special Points, used for attack functions, explained below.
Attack Functions are things that use SP to do new attacks. The Major one being...
X-RAY MOVES
Characters with a full SP meter (Gained by hitting/defending attacks) can use an X-Ray Move, where they can do 5 Attacks that hit no matter what, with the only restrictions being that...
1: You can not kill the opponent
2: You can not disable an opponent, like cutting off a limb, or impaling them
...They can however, break bones and such, as long as the opponent only loses HP, the more creative the combo, the more damage.
Another function is a Combo, each Extra hit needs 10 SP, but allows you to do another attack during your turn, with the opponent able to defend the attack still, but it costs less.
STORY
The game starts during the first MK Tournament, with no time travel or such, but effects CAN be altered, and characters added, EX: Tanya in the first Tournament, if a player chooses a person like such. For more story, I need to know who is playing as who, so I can work around it.

Thanks, anyway, I knew more should be explained.
While attacking with a combo, you do not gain any SP, so you can't hit a never ending combo.
After every move/attack, I'll end up checking it and decide if it's possible, so if someone wants to make someone explode, obviously, I'm not gonna let that happen.
If you are getting attacked normally, You can come up with a way to defend, which would allows you to have a better chance of not getting hit.
The best way to insure you win is to be Creative with attacks and blocks, don't just say "I punch him" or "I Block it", and of course, some sense would be needed as well, even stuff that's possible in MK, like blocking getting frozen, would not be possible here, as I'm sure we can all agree that blocking getting frozen makes zero sense.
Of Course, if you think a move or something is cheep, tell me, and if you have ideas, go right ahead and tell me!

Oh, and in a situation allowed, you CAN do a fatality, and it can be as awesome as you want, though having a metal nyan cat come from the sky and eat the opponent wouldn't help you very much in the game...
The dead opponent, could ether pick a new character, and disregard the dead one, or wait for him/her to be revived.

Good idea but unfortunately there was and still is the MKO Fight League, which is basically an RPG but more wrestling and MMA styled. Also last year there was an attempt at an RPG style game sort of like WoW but it fell apart.
