shinnok is nothing without his medalion...so Shao Kahn can beat him now.
But during the evtns of mk4 i really doubt that kahm would have win a fight.
i say Shao Kahn,but i like them both.

Probably Shinnok due to power, hand to hand though I think Kahn would give Shinny a beaten though but ultimately Shinnok would win.

Shinnok would win for three reasons

1. In the movies shinnok is shoa khans father.

2. He has more power.

3. He takes the life forces of all the living.

Obi-WanKenobi, the movie storylines are non-canon. Meaning, Shinnok IS NOT Shao Kahn's father.

Anyway, despite Shao Kahn's physical strength, I would have to say that Shinnok would most likely come out the victor. Shao Kahn may be powerful, but Shinnok is a fallen Elder God.

Shinnok tried to take the earthrealm for himself long ago, and he failed, raiden "kicked his ass". shao kahn was the emperor of outworld for many millenia, fusing other realms with it along the way, it is true that he had never conquered the earth, but he tried it hard, while shinnok could not even escape from the netherealm without the help of quan chi, and lost to liu kang in the second attack to earth, and he did not come back then. in the past shao kahn took onaga's trown, and ruled outworld for ages! and he tried to conquer the earth lots of times (if we count not just the story of the games, but all the mk tournaments goro and shang tsung won in his name). and besides, shao kahn has a much stronger muscular strengh than shinnok. talking about power... hmm shinnok can be more powerfull than kahn, but just a little bit, i doubt shinnok could fuse realms like kahn can, without his beloved amulet shinnok is not that strong and shao kahn has a much more imponent and powerfull attitude (watch him in MK Conquest..) than shinnok does.

Maybe if Shinnok was still an Elder God Before he was banished to the Netherealm could have taken and beaten Kahn. But Now I'd have to go with Shao Kahn. Kahn may not be a God but givin' his ability to merge all realms and universes to Outworld as well as stealing the liufe forces out of every inhabitant he is a super natural Immortal being like a God. Once he has the Earth realm he will definitely become a God

Shao Kahn will never conquer the Earthrealm.. not while Kung Lao is alive!

I think during the time between Onaga's assassination and his annexing of all of the countless realms, Kahn has taken, and devoured quite a bit of souls, thus becoming more powerful. If he's not a god, by the MK definition(And he's not) he's very close to it. Add this to the fact that he's an all out warrior, then I think Kahn comes out on top.

Shao Kahn is, and always was, the main MK villain. During th 90's he was that guy totally associated with evil, he was the boss in 4 games (mk2, mk3, umk3, mkt), and Shang Tsung was working for him in mk1, so... and besides, when MK4 came out, i think that Shinnok was quite a bad choice as a boss. Shao Kahn is much more inponent, much more arrogant, confident, and has a much better look than Shinnok does. I hope Shinnok gets destroyed in Armageddon, and Shao Kahn returns in future games. as boss? hmmmm... don't know..

shinnok easily b/c shao kahn is straight up slow and is useless if he is mortal. when his powers were takin away in mk anni. he was useless and defeated easily. with him owning kang for a while, kang still held in there until his powers were gone and took kahn out. shinnok definatly because he still has his powers for beinga fallen god.

This is tough. Shinnok would have the upper hand with his Medallion. But without it, it would probably be Shao Kahn.

Well, in fair fight, Shao Kahn, but Shinnok could always summon a skeleton hand which would grab Kahn and take him to the Netherealm!

and even if it managed to grab him, Kahn has enough strengh to breack every bone in the hand, and beat Shinnok using one of the hand's bones as a baseball bat.

Whayya! (Shinnok threw his magic hand thingy into shao kahn to grab him)
AHHH! Shao Kahn cried. Haha! Week pathetic fool! You acctually thought you could get me? HAHAHA! Shao Kahn said. Well, that's not the end of it. Shinnok said.
(Take this! Portal Punch! (Idk i just made this up, lol.) He knocked Shao Kahn to the ground. Shao Kahn got on his feet. Not bad, Shinnok. You have grown stronger. Stronger then everything before. I don't even think you could beat Raiden with that, bad of power. Still, your strong... But not as strong as ME! Shao Kahn phraised.

Shao Kahn then started to get mad. He got out his power sludge hammer.
He pounded it on Shinnok's head, & it cracked & bled. His crown was not strong enough to handle it. Shao Kahn then grabbed Shinnok's throat & chocked him... (Lightning bolt appeared, Shao Kahn dropped Shinnok.)

ENOUGH! (Said by the Thundergod, Raiden.)

Raiden! Shinnok said.

Shao Kahn, stop this madness. If you continue, i will kill you. Shinnok, i hate to say this but... This end's now. Shao Kahn is done tarrorising the realms. Ive had enough. Will you team up with me to deafeat, Emperor, Shao Kahn? Raiden Said.

As you wish, Shinnok Said.

Whooya! (Raiden throws a lightning punch) Shao Kahn get's hit far, & electricuted.

Raiden look out! Shinnok said.

What? Raiden said.

Shao Kahn hit raiden in the head with his hammer, but he hit thin air. Raiden done his teleport & electricuted Shao Kahn. Shinnok then grabbed Shao Kahn's neck, lifted him up & killed him. The ruler of outworld was no more. Shao Kahn was defeated. Raiden & Shinnok have succeded.
