This is definitely the hardest one for me so far. I love both characters. Bo Rai Cho was always a great character. I think having an old drunken Outworld master coming to Earthrealm to train warriors is a great idea. While, the puking and farting may have been a little too much, it never bothered me that much. Bo Rai Cho was always the lovable master. I remember back in Deception Konquest that he felt like a great person. He turned his back on Outworld to help Earthrealm, trained Liu Kang and Kung Lao, saved Li Mei and then trained her. He has to be one of the nicest characters in MK. Bo Rai Cho's redesign in MKX is AMAZING. For any haters that hated him for his puking and farting can now stop. He looks great. He is still fat, but can be a believable fighter. His voice was perfect and the small flask was a nice touch. I really want them to bring him back and dive into his back story a little more. I want to see how he decided to go to Earthrealm. If they do not bring him back in MK11, I will be EXTREMELY disappointed.

While I do love Bo, I love Shinnok a bit more. I remember hearing of him in DA and Deception, so I was excited to see him in Armageddon. His red hat and white skin always intrigued me. I loved him in Armageddon. His appearance may have always been cartoony but he has always been the most interesting MK villain. He was great in Armageddons konquest. Shinnok was the one that set everything up. Who knows what would have happened after Armageddon. Shinnok survived unlike most people. Shinnok stole the show in MKX. He was great. Shinnok is my main and while he may be limited, he is very fun to play as. I vote Shinnok, but Bo Rai Cho is very close.

Shinnok is great. He finally got the revamp he deserved, and despite not being a very successful villain in story mode, he was very successful as a returning character. I would have preferred a more traditional look like he had in MK9, but his alt is pretty good. His Impostor variation is a great spin on his old move stealing ability, and my favorite variation to play as.

Bo' Rai Cho is one of my favorite characters. His backstory and motivation has always been cool, and a great fit for the series. I really like the whole looks can be deceiving approach of his character. Funnily enough it carries over to how he's perceived as a character in real life - people look at him and think "WOW HE'S GROSS WHAT A TERRIBLE FIGHTER ALL HE DOES IS DRINK AND FART" when that's not really the case at all.

I was really hoping he would be playable in MKX. His moveset has always been solid, and think he could be incredible in 2D, especially with what NRS knows now about making bulkier characters. I'm glad he got a cameo in story mode at least, even though he was treated like a chump. I feel like his redesign is a bit of a disservice to the character, but I guess I understand them wanting to play it safe and make him more tame. Hopefully if he comes back he's a bit more over the top like he used to be.

Bo' Rai Cho gets my vote. Here's hoping he's DLC or playable in the next game.

Voted for Bo' Rai Cho. He looks good in his cameo. Didn't really want him as DLC at first but I'd welcome him since he doesn't seem to be a joke like he was in the original timeline.

Shinnok on the other hand looks goofy as hell in all 3 of his costumes and pretty much accomplishes nothing during story. His gameplay isn't really fun at all either. Kind of a shame since I was looking forward to him a bit due to his MK:A appearance and game-play. Oh well.

Gotta vote for Shinnok. His involvment in the story was much more minimal than I expected but you can tell he would have been incredibly powerful, possibly winning, had it not been for the Cage bloodline.

Bo' Rai Cho looked great in story mode but I hated the whole drunk/fart/vomit thing when I was young. I came to understand the drunker master character in martial arts and now I wish he would come back just so I can get a fresh new look at him.

Shinnok. His primary in this game imo is the best he has ever looked, while Bo I have just never been a huge fan of.

Tough choice, but I chose Shinnok in the end. Seeing Bo in story mode for about a minute though made me mark out so hard. I pray he's playable soon.

Went with Bo. I feel like I've seen a more or less fully realized Shinnok and I'm not overly impressed. Still want to see Bo Rai Cho's potential fulfilled. I think he has a very high ceiling.

I honestly thought Bo' Rai Cho would make the roster. "30-something characters" my bum, Boon. lol confused

Seriously what MK boss we're seen recently has any awesome one-liners like that in Story Mode? Shinnok.

Poor Jarek. The first truly mediocre kombatant, and a harbinger of the 3D era to kome.

Johnny takes this one pretty easily. I think a revamped Jarek could be interesting, though, since the original is such a blank slate. I wouldn't mind seeing a revamped Jarek and playable Tasia next game if Kano bows out after MKX.

I never played much of MK4 and never noticed him in Armageddon, so I really don't know much about Jarek. More Black Dragons are nice, but that is not enough to put him over Johnny in any way shape or form.

Shao Kahn.

I wished Shinnok would remain silent. Everything he spouts is meritless dark lord boasting.

Johnny Cage glasses gets my vote; hopefully Jarek will appear in future games so he can develop more. He had to many of Kano's finishers in MK 4

Voted Bo' Rai Cho last round. I love Shinnok, but Bo was my favorite character introduced in the 3D era aside from Onaga.

Before MKX, I would have went with Jarek, but they did right with Johnny. Major improvement personality wise.
