I don't know why people are taking this contest so personally, and are so angry about characters being eliminated. It's just a popularity contest, fuck! Why are people getting so upset about it? It doesn't make a character better than any other character, it just means that a group of people prefer this character more than that character.

It's barely even that.

I never thought Fujin could take the entire tourney but I'm glad we were able to make it happen.

I fell asleep with Kenshi in the lead only to wake up to Fujin taking the tournament. Wow. That's a crazy end, though, and while I wanted Kenshi to win the tournament, I'm pretty happy Fujin won.

Can't wait until the next Supreme MK Champion.

Good tournament. There were some matches that were one sided, but a majority, especially at the end, got neck and neck. I hope the request for Fujin makes it to NRS and we finally get to see him live up to his potential. Also, hope once he does show off what he can do, his popularity stays like this.

Some people take this stupid popularity contest too seriously. I bet there are people with a lot of dummy accounts just for these. For instance, why can't you see how many people voted? Because if you could, there would be massive complaining about why there are so many people voting compared to the number of people posting comments. What reinforces this belief even further is that when I made a vote, I was only changing like .2% at most. - In reality, most people that have played MK don't even know who Fujin is. He wasn't playable since MK4 and Armageddon, the later was in October of 2006, so why would people vote for basically a non-kombatant?

That seems to be everyone's big argument here lately...

The salt is too much. they monitor for dummy accounts one year it was suspended because some cheated guy got banned and voting re-started. I do agree we should see how many people voted though. . Everyone in the mk community knows who fujin is or he wouldnt of won this tournament we are sick of him being fucked around by nrs and its time for that to change. He has huge potential

If this tornament was based off what most mk players know than Scopion would win every year. Not hating on casual fans, but there seems to be a difference between casual fans and story driven or hardcore fans. (whatever anyone wants to call us.)

Maybe if some other characters were pushed and marketed more people would be aware. And I'm not just talking about Fujin. Look how Kenshi has been constantly presented, first as a dlc in mk9 then as a main roster character with an awsome son. I never hear people complain about people liking him because he's kinda treated like a trilogy character at this point. Same thing with Quan Chi. That's what happends when they actually bother to present and/or do something with a character. They should try it with others.
