The above are both tests of my skills and Microsoft PowerPoint's ability to display animation. I was pleased with some of the effects that can be implemented in PowerPoint, but these effects are better off being used on text than on images, especially animated GIFs. It's not like Adobe Flash: too many animations seem to bog it down severely. If you have a powerful CPU Kano's animation will look pretty decent, otherwise it will seem awfully choppy. Luckily, I discovered a trick to make PowerPoint display graphics looking good even when blown up. (The MK sprites are shown looking crisp and sharp, not blurry the way MS Office products usually do it.) Using some of the more robust PowerPoint features, they can be converted to Flash and actually come out quite decent!
