I wanted to see if I was a little rusty because it's been a long time since my last fake, the answer was yes but I still enjoyed making these two:
Lara came out quite cartoony but then how realistic could I paint her at that size?

I like the second one, just add lifebars to make it look like it's from an actual game, and it will look even better. The sky is empty anway, so why not?
Very nice! My only complained about the first one is the background is a little too sharp and detailed, which means Sonya and Kahn sprites are sort of drowned out by it. The Sonya edit is great, probably one of the best I've ever seen. 3.5/5
Lara on the second one is superb, looks like you made her from scratch. The only negative is the water, like the other fake it looks too crisp and the pattern is kinda hard on the eyes. It would've looked better if it was soft or smoother, like the ground you have them fighting on. 4/5

I like the Central American lost jungle temple theme in the first one. Sonya looks cool. The tree on the left looks too cartoony for the rest of the bg. If the walls were dulled/aged a bit more, it could look better. The overall design, and execution is beautiful. I have wanted to do a similar stage myself, but hadn't decided on the wall pattern/textures yet.

Beautiful!
I love the “Tomb Raider 3” background of the first picture! Excellent idea Keith! Now that I think about it, we haven’t really had a decent sexy exotic “jungle-like” background in MK. I would be fantastic to see one in MK vs DC were you could battle in a jungle that has some stunning ancient temple in the background that you could interact with as you fight (filled with cool traps and stuff).
But back to the first picture, I love the Energy Rings glow you gave Sonya in her hands as she is punching the crap out of Shao Kahn. But the most obvious wonderful thing of the 2 fakes are the characters you created/edited. Sonya’s MKSM look is superb! What an excellent job man!
I’ve said this before, I say it again, you should really get yourself into the artistic industry of this kind of things, designs. I’ve seen other of your works and they are superb.
Lara does look cartoony in the second one, but it isn’t a bad thing at all, because the edit is so cool and perfect that it makes up for that. She look stunning! Well done with the colors. I love the Wu Shi academy and I like the pose you chose for Kung Lao as well.
As someone said, some life bars would had looked wicked in that pic.
Overall, they are excellent and awesome enough to save in my computer.

VERY nice editing. The obvious has been stated so I'll simply say you did a great job. Keep it up.
