A moment too soon to speak, but i'd figure what the hell.

The past few months we have seen little to no comics at all, there was the occasional Bezou episode, ]{ did his best with Ghost, but that was it, no comics were really...alive then. Nowadays young new comic artists, eager to show off their mad skillz, are popping out new comics faster than the number of people Donald Trump fires. Relatively new of course, but now we see a frequent number of comics, and MKO is starting to feel the comic vibe all over again.

What's wrong with this picture?

Well, for one, they aren't very good. Don't get me wrong, i'm a very fair guy and I'm always giving people a chance, but I take a look at the new comics and man...well, they are horrible. Okay, maybe not horrible, sub-par at best. It doesn't take a graphical whizz to make a half-decent comic, it takes time, effort, and most of all, commitment. I see half-assed comics here and can't help but wonder, are people really THAT uncommitted to their comics, or it's just me? Sense of humor is lacking too, most comics tend to swerve on the "Oh look, a penny!" or..."RODFLUGAY". Some of the newer comics are good, however, for example, the upcoming Hanzo Hazashi story looks a tad promising, so i'll look forward to seeing that.

A lot of people are fighting back against the critics. I understand what comes out of their posts are harsh, but can you really blame them? I mean, they are critics, and the whole concept of criticism is to help and improve, right? I've been criticized a heck of a lot for some of my comics (a.k.a. the blue box and black text), so what do I do? I go back and fix it! Then I move forward with it! Honestly, guys, if you can't take criticism like a man then what's the point of being an artist? I bet you a million bucks, that when Venomark started making fakes, they must have not been very good. So how did you think he got there? He listened, he took criticism, and he has a lot of money. I'm sure Bezou took criticism, so did ]{, so they listened and moved on with their mistakes, constantly improving.

As I come to the end of my rant, I ask all of you, is there a serious decline in comics? We all know fakes are at their, ehish not pique, Art is at it's prime as Jax007 and Rufix and Chrome bring out the best of their ability, but comics are now starting to fall to the gutter. Please guys, please save the comics! If we do not, then this board will be littered with arrogant comic artists who won't improve and push themselves.
