Pretty awesome animation, and I like the secret at the end where you can adjust the blood level. The only problem I saw is the little balls of blood fall too slow when Kabal is throwing Kano around.

Damn good eyes, lol. Yeah I never really noticed that.
His legs standing sprite is directly from the game (though I removed the stupid floating hands that you get when you do it) so it's the torso that's the problem. I guess I didn't take enough off when cutting it, but if I'd have took anymore off his torso would've looked waaaay too small when compared to his legs. Guess I should've painted it all black, heh.

Thanks . Yeah, they originally moved slower so this is slightly sped up. I tried to speed them up again, but thought it was too fast so I left em like this. Next time I'll try an speed em up a bit more, if I use them again .

Not sure if you realize this, but after you watch the animation once, it's so cool, you HAVE to watch it again. Then when you and you see the first symbol, you're like "Hey, woah, what IS that?" So you keep watching it a couple more times, and it's just amazing how much excitement builds up over the anticipation of what's going to happen when all six symbols get filled in.

I'd say keep doing it the way you've done it in this ani, if you do it in the future

Yeah I like the animation, it was really cool, but the idea isn't that original. Its just a torso rip, done by a different way. I like the arcade feel too

Well no the idea isn't that original. That's why I had him spin him round four times and slam him to the floor lol. That's where it gets brutal. You could argue that a headrip wasn't original until Reptile did it with his tongue .
I kinda prefer jazzing up simple ideas - that way they seem more believable and especially for MK3, they look more shocking (take his blood pump for example, wtf was that? lol)



Lol, of a fashion. The frame rate is quite fast. The default for flash is 12, while this runs at 24. I put it at 24 because in the browser it gets slowed down anyway, so it probably plays at about 22 in IE/FireFox.
Other than that, getting every single sprite in there helps it flow .

Hey thanks. The blood things were so much easier to do by programming them. Just make one and use some code to duplicate it loadsa times, lol. Which then made the secret easy by just increasing the duplicates .
