Animation remake?

Hey...I was just perusing ]{'s site and saw three MKDA fatality animations done with MK2 characters.

My question is....long time ago, I made those same three animations....same characters, same fatalities...only mine were just gifs.....these are flash. Did this guy redo my animations? .....he's got the same three fatalities, the same opponents, and some of the same animation. was he mocking me? trying to improve? I'm not upset or anything, I'm just wondering.....there are similarities (including the strange pose I put Sub-Zero in at the end of his for some reason).

scroll down to my list ("DaChort") and watch those three and then scroll down to "Deadly Dragon" and watch the three that say "Scorpion's/Reptile's/Sub-Zero's MKDA Fatality"

Those were my first (and only) animations...I know they aren't incredible and I'm not looking for reviews....just wondering if this guy redid what I did....maybe in a forum post that I missed or something.

Yea, looks like he redid them. And not by much, all he did was add sound and a few other things. That's sad that he stole your stuff, sorry about that.

The scorpion one is different, but the other 2 are the same-ish. It's not stealing the fatality since it's from the game, but it is copying how you made it, which still isn't a good thing. tisk tisk DD. grin

Yes im sorry about that they were my first animation and it was my first time on flash. i saw your animations and they were incredible i was suck on flash that time and it was a year ago or two. The scorpion one i did was my own idea I didnt know you make a scorpion one also. Please dont be mad I just wanted to remake them and i never know anything on flash that time. At the time I didnt know what "MKO" is and i didnt post it anywhere. So please forgive me for my stupid behavior. sad

Wait.. are you saying you admit to copying/stealing his animation? And you've let me host it on the Pavilion all this time without ever telling me?

I'm not mad about it, I was just wondering...the similarities seemed uncanny to me. They're just little MK animations....not worth getting my panties in a bunch over.

Im really sorry about that man. I did it 1-2 years ago and i have never posted it here or anywhere. I sent ]{0MBAT fixed animations that give you credit. you can close this thread if you wish..

DaChort, I'm glad you're being so mature about this.

Really, I take this quite seriously and don't want people thinking the Kombat Pavilion is a place where you can post stolen animations. I also don't want people thinking I'm super-strict or anything either, so instead of deleting Deadly Dragon's entries, I posted fixed versions that give you proper credit. (Well, except for Scorpion, cuz he says that one was a coincidence.) I thank everyone involved for being very cooperative and I hope everyone is satisfied with my approach to a solution on this issue.
