UPDATE (6/11/16): A battle of Bows and Arrows
MK vs DCU 2?? ... Kung Jin (MKX Alternate) and Nightwolf (MK9 Primary) take on Arrow from Injustice: Gods Among Us. It does't look like the odds are in Arrow's favor.
I was originally going to have Revenant Nightwolf vs Kung Jin... but changed my mind later.








UPDATE (6/11/16): Havik's Hands of Chaos
Fake request details (from quarkes):
Havik summons a glowing wooden chaos pillar and kicks his opponent to the pillar. A magical rotten hand with a rusty nail stabs the opponent on the top of their head in order to trap them. Several other rotted hands emerge from the pillar as well and rip the opponent apart with blood pouring out of the opponent's torso into a vortex that converts the blood into water.
I had to make a few artistic liberties to alter the original fake request. I made a pillar at one point, but it would have been a jumbled mess to have them all coming from the same pillar to rip him apart. So I had the hands come out of the ground. The pillar got scrapped because it would be too much considering there is so much happening in the Chaosrealm background/arena. I also changed my original arm position of Havik to hold a chalice drinking the water that's being converted in the vortex, giving a good reason for that to even happen.
I hope everyone enjoys this piece, because I enjoyed the hell out of making it.








Raiden's Demise
This is a recreation of Shinnok's MK4 ending, but with MKX sprites for Raiden and Shinnok, and I made Quan Chi's MKDA outfit (which, believe it or not, IS slightly different than his look in MK9)
Yes, I know, Quan Chi wasn't in Shinnok's ending, but I couldn't help but add him there, laughing at Raiden as Shinnok binds him in his energy. I suppose it was a little foolish of me to leave the amulet on Quan Chi's belt... oh well.
This may seem more boring than my usual gore-filled fatality fakes... maybe I'll make up for it with a follow-up showing Raiden blowing up into bloody chunks with Quan Chi shielding his face from the blood splatters.








Sub-Zero and Kitana vs Sektor

Kahn vs Onaga
Fake request from deviantart member quarkes: Shao Kahn summons his wrath hammer and launches his opponent into the air. A green laser connects from the spikes on the head of the hammer and shoots at the opponent. The opponent explodes with Gore shooting out with some of the bones flying and stretching muscle tissue that is still connected to these bones.
I didn't have the patience nor did I feel like making the time to try and draw all that complicated "muscle tissue" and bones stuff...









Shinnok summons a skeletal arm to punch through the chest of Torr as Ferra looks on in horror and disbelief at what just happened to her ally.
Unfortunately Torr came out quite cartoony compared to the rest of the fake... but I think it's the best custom sprite edit I've done yet, even more so than my Sabrewulf.









Tanya thrusts her naginata through the chest of Kotal Kahn and sticks out of his... ouch!
