Cavlote, a man of greed for power. Long ago he and his clan used to work for the sorceror known as Shang Tsung. They brought weakened warriors before Shang Tsung so he may consume their souls and use them for his own power. Cavlote has many wolf features, he is possitioned like a regular man (stands like one), but has a head of a wolf. His body and arms and legs are covered in fur and he has a tail as well.
Cavlote was the leader of a tribe known as the Komilayen. He was the most skilled warrior there. His tribe was never beaten in a fight. They were completly flawless. This was why Sang Tsung wanted the Komilayen to be his servants. He offered them ultimate power, or death.
Cavlote could not risk the chance of losing his clan for it meant so much to him. He and his clan obeyed Shang Tsungs every comand for many years. Over time, Shang Tsung has grown stronger. The souls of the warriors the Komilayen clan brought for him to consume were very powerful to his use. Then one day, a sorceror named Quan Chi came to the doors of Shang Tsung's palace. There and then, Shang Tsung became almost invincible.
Many months later, a number of Earthrealm warriors came to Shang Tsung's palace. Cavlote and his clan were summoned to destroy them for Shang Tsung relized that they were not there to have a friendly treaty.
Everyday, a new warrior came to the palace to defeat Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, and everyday they were wrecked by Cavlote and his clan. After it seemed that all of the warriors were defeated, another warrior came to the palace. He was flowing with thunder all around his body, his eyes were shining with a white glow. This warrior was Raiden.
Cavlote, knew about this so-called Raiden as the Thunder God. He didn't bother to fight him, but then stead acted like he was hurt and wounded on the ground.... along with his clan. Raiden walked into the palace without a problem. Then the real challenge came to Shang Tsung. Cavlote and his clan had taken advantage of this moment. They didn't see to watch who won the fight, but ran away as far as hey could.
It wasn't long before they looked back, because a bright light had filled their eyes. The blast of energy didn't look freindly to Cavlote and his clan. They ran with all of their energy as far away as they could. The blast was too quick for them. Many clan members eventually slowed down, and died.
Sense the blast killed Shang Tsung, all of the souls which were in him were set free. Before the blast of energy could affect Cavlote, a number of souls rushed into his body. It feeled to him as if over one hundred souls have joined his power. Sense these souls had colided with Cavlote, the blast barely hurt him.
Cavlote looked around, and saw all of his clan members dead on the floor. He had lived, but he felt as if he had nothing to live for. All though he felt this way he did not want to waste his life. He wanted some sort of revenge for his clan, but who would he take his anger out on sense Shang Tsung most of died?
Cavlote wondered for miles thinking about what to do with himself. He eventually came to the most popular part of Outworld. He came to Shao Kahn's palace. Cavlote had no purpose for staying here. He turned around and started for the Living Forest.
Cavlote has been to this part of Outworld many times for he helped Shang Tsung with some things here. Therefor, he knew exactly where everything was located here. He knew where all of the villiges were, the Living Forest, etc. During his stay at the Living Forest he meet with a mysterious warrior.
Noob-Saibot: You! I have seen you before! What is your name?
Cavlote: My name is Cavlote. What is your buisness with me?
Noob-Saibot: I have seen you fight many warriors and have won the fight without being touched. I want you to assassinate someone for me.
Cavlote: What is the reward?
Noob-Saibot: I can teach you my ways of Kombat.
Cavlote: Hmmmm... I can use somemore training for what I want to accomplish in. If you teach me first, then I will assassinate this person.
Noob-Saibot: Okay then, let's begin.
Cavlote trained with Noob-Saibot for man days learning the ways of the Moi Fah fighting style. After the training it seemed to Noob as if Cavlote has mastered his fighting style better then he himself. Noob-Saibot knew that he has taught Cavlote all that he could.
Noob-Saibot: You are done with the training. Now, I want you to assassinate a warrior known as Sub-Zero. He is my arch enemy and I would love to kill him myself, but he has to many of his own surrounding him. If you can somehow get closer to Sub-Zero without him relizing your mission, then strike him with the Moi Fah fighting style, so he knows that I have sent you.
Cavlote: I will do as you say. If you want me to be sucsessful in this mission, then it will take some time. Please have patience and your wish will be complete. Where can I find this Sub-Zero?
Noob-Saibot: He is located in Earthrealm, if you want to get there, then you can take the Migration Route. It will take a while, but that is the only way, that I know, that will lead you to him.
Cavlote: Thank you for the training warrior. I will be back with Sub-Zero's head.
Cavlote then took the route which Noob-Saibot has suggested to him. It took many days before he was on a beach of Earthrealm. He had not known exactly where to locate Sub-Zero from here, but he had a feeling that it wouldn't be too hard to find. He could see gates surrounding a small area and he went to check there first.
Cavlote stuck his head over the fence and saw many warriors training. It was cold there. Cavlote thought that this was the place. He then jumped over the gate.
Cavlote: Maybe if I kill Sub-Zero without anyone watching, then this mission will go by way faster. It will take longer if I get close to the clan and earn it's trust.
He went up to the nearest Lin Kuei ninja that he could find.
Lin Kuei Ninja: Ahhh! You startled me!
Cavlote: Is Sub-Zero located here?
Lin Kuei Ninja: Come on now, you know as much as I do that Sub-Zero always is here. If you do not know that then that is pathetic for a Lin Kuei warrior.
The warrior thought that Cavlote was a Lin Kuei member, so he took advantage of this matter.
Cavlote: Right, I forgot. I also forgot where he is located here at this time at night, can you tell me?
Lin Kuei Ninja: He is over there in those gates. Do you need a memory potion?
Cavlote didn't answer. He hurried over to the gates and opened them. He saw Sub-Zero training with another member of the Lin Kuei.
Sub-Zero: I must teach with you another time young warrior, I have a visitor.
The Lin Kuei member left the gates hardly recognizing Cavlote.
Sub-Zero: Welcome to the Lin Kuei warrior. How can I assist you?
Cavlote looked around and saw that there was no one else in the room. He leaped from where he was standing and tackled Sub-Zero to the ground. Cavlote was ready to attack him somemore, but he saw that he had already been knocked out. If he stayed to finish him off here, then someone might spot him. He held Sub-Zero with his teeth and jumped over the gate.
Cavlote went back on the Migration Route and headed for Noob-Saibot, back in Outworld. After a few days of walking he made it back to the Living Forest. He dropped Sub-Zero from his teeth so he could talk.
Cavlote: Noob-Saibot, are you here? I have brought back Sub-Zero.
Noob-Saibot came out from behind a tree.
Noob-Saibot: Excellent work, is he dead?
Cavlote: No, I couldn't finish him at the Lin Kuei temple and there were to many warriors on the route for me to kill him there, so I brought him back here for you to finish him.
Noob-Saibot: Even better. Good work Cavlote, you have done your mission.
Noob-Saibot turned to Sub-Zero on the floor to see that he was waking up.
Noob pulled out a sword and held it over Sub-Zero's neck. Next thing that Cavlote sees is Noob-Saibot frozen, holding his sword.
Sub-Zero leaped up from the ground quickly turning around to Cavlote. He threw an ice blast towords Cavlote, but Cavlote was too quick. Cavlote didn't have time for fighting, he turned around and ran away from the Lin Kuei master. He turned around one last time and saw Sub-Zero breaking the iced Noob-Saibot into pieces. Noob-Saibot, was dead.
Seeing this he quickly ran toward Sub-Zero in anger he never had. Sub-Zero was alert of this and quickly got away from Cavlote. Cavlote's only ally was dead and the killer was long gone.
Cavlote now had two enemies that he wished to destroy. Shang Tsung would be brought back to the world once again. Cavlote was certain of that. For now, he will hunt Sub-Zero down and once he does, Sub-Zero will be dead.
Cavlote was found standing over the shattered Noob-Saibot by one of Noob's other allies. His name was Smoke.
Smoke: Stop right there murderer!
Cavlote had no time to explain to the warrior what has happened. All that he could think of doing, was defending himself. Smoke thrust many punches towards Cavlote, but Cavlote was not affected by such weak punches. The souls that have converged with Cavlote seemed to give him more strength and power then what he used to have.
Cavlote stopped the punches of the cybotic robot and tossed Smoke towards a nearby tree. Once Smoke's back and tree hit, Smoke was snapped in half by the force of the throw. Smoke's systems were to weak for this situation. His system, eventually wore out.
After a year of researching Sub-Zero's personal life, Cavlote found a way which he may lure Sub-Zero away from his clan alone so he may ambush him.
Cavlote found out that Sub-Zero and another warrior known as Frost have been in care for eachother for some time. He also learned that Frost stole the madalion from Sub-Zero and couldn't hold it's power. This made Frost freeze with hard ice surrounding her.
Cavlote's plan is capture Frost and then hold her as hostage. Cavlote will treaten to hurt Frost unless Sub-Zero comes to the Frozen Mountains alone so Cavlote could combat him. If Sub-Zero refuses to fight, then Cavlote will throw Frost off the cliff.
Cavlote also formed an alliance with Shao Kahn over the year. This way he can get payed for working with the emperor and not worry about the payments of his life.
Cavlote got many chances to train over the year while working for Shao Kahn and whenever he got a chance, he trained. Every time Cavlote trained with himself, the more he was eager to find Sub-Zero, but he had to first find out where Frost was.
He asked many people in Outworld, but no one knew that much of Sub-Zero's life. He decided that he was to go to Earthrealm, dressed like a villager so no one would recognize him there.
He made a costume out of old rags that were used for cleaning Shao Kahn's palace. he also wore gloves and boots so no one could see his paws, and he wore a hat (slanted down) so no one could see his face. When he was finished puting the new clothes on he didn't look like a furocious wolf anymore, he looked like an ordinary villager.
He head out to Earthrealm in a desgize. Many days later, he was once again on the shores of a beach located in Earthrealm. He knew where the Lin Kuei was located now sence he has came here before.
He went to the gates of the Lin Kuei temple and knocked on it. Suddenly the gates opened and there was a Red Master standing beyond the gates.
Red Master: Identify yourself.
Cavlote: My name is Cav-.... sorry, I wasn't thinking. My name is Resern.
Red Master: Welcome Resern, what is your buisness with the Lin Kuei?
Cavlote: I would like to join here.
Red Master: As you wish. Talk to the head master, he will give you the details. He is beyond that gate.
Cavlote: Thank you.
Cavlote went over to the gate which Sub-Zero was located in. He knocked on it and it opened. He walked in and saw many Red Masters and other ninjas of the Lin Kuei there. He then saw Sub-Zero in the middle of the training area.
Cavlote: Sub-Zero, my name is Resern. I am here to join your clan.
Sub-Zero: You are welcome to my clan.
Cavlote: Thank you.
Sub-Zero: Take away your hat sir. I want to see the face of my new member.
Cavlote: My face is burnt. You do not want to see my face.
Sub-Zero: Very well. This is where I train with my members would you like to train at the moment?
Cavlote thought for a moment. He was about to sat no, but he had to get the trust of Sub-Zero this time, otherwise Sub-Zero would suspect something.
Cavlote: I would enjoy to train with you.
Sub-Zero: Then let us begin.
Cavlote trained with Sub-Zero for hours. Learning the ways and styles Sub-Zero uses.
Sub-Zero: it is getting dark. If you would like we will continue with this tomorrow, but for now I must get some rest. Good night.
Cavlote said nothing. He turned around and left the gates. He went out of the Lin Kuei temple and headed for a nearby forest. There, he could sleep until tomorrow.
The next morning, Cavlote headed for the Lin Luei temple. When he reached there, the gate was already open. He walked in. He went over to the training courtyard where he was hoping to find Sub-Zero. When he was about to knock on the door he spotted a door leading underground behind a boulder. It was opened.
Cavlote hurried over to the door. He looked inside of it and felt a very cold breeze touch his face. He went down and closed the door behind him. It was a tunnel that was very long and seemed as if it would last forever. Cavlote kept walking and eventually came to a stop.
There, he found Frost frozen solid. He heard a noise coming from the tunnel. He hid behind a statue so that whoever was coming down here wouldn't see him.
Cavlote then saw Sub-Zero coming out from the tunnel. He walked straight up to the frozen figure and stood right infront of her. This would be the perfect chance for Cavlote to kill Sub-Zero. He was just ready to leap out, until he heard another person coming from the tunnel.
Lin Kuei Ninja: Master, I was hoping to find you here. I have been searching everywhere for you.
Sub-Zero: What is it that you want?
Lin Kuei Ninja: Somone has stolen your medalion! It is not on in the temple anymore!
Sub-Zero: No! Come with me at once! We must find the theif before they get to far away!
Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei member went off through the tunnel.
Cavlote: It seems that I will have to do things the first way that I planned it.
Frost was light enough for Cavlote to carry, even with the ice surrounding her. Before he took her out of the tunnel, he made a note.
Sub-Zero, you have taken one of my allie's life away, so now I will take one of your allie's life... that is, unless you give your life in an exchange. Meet me at the Frozen Mountains this Saturday afternoon. I will be waiting.

I left the note where Frost was at and exited the tunnel with Frost. He left the Lin Kuei without anyone noticing him. He then made his hike up to the Frozen Mountains.
It was Saturday, and Cavlote has been waiting for Sub-Zero to show up. Cavlote started to wonder if Sub-Zero has even seen the notw that he left. Then he saw a figure climbing up the mountain. cavlote didn't have to get a closer look at the figure to tell who it was. He immediatly knew that it was Sub-Zero the moment Cavlote saw him.
He headed towards Sub-Zero and stopped a few yards away from him.
Cavlote: So what is your choice Sub-Zero? Will you give your life to save another's? Or will you watch in horor as you seen Frost being thrown off the mountain? It is your choice Sub-Zero. Now choose!
Sub-Zero: I will die then stead of her....
Cavlote: Very well.
Cavlote hurried over to Sub-Zero. He leaped in the air and then suddenly fell on the floor frozen solid. Sub-Zero had frozen Cavlote. Knowing that Cavlote would break free from the ice he quickly thought up of an idea.
A nearby tree had some iceicles hanging down from the branches of it. Sub-Zero quickly ran towards it and broke one off from the tree. He made the iceicle bigger by freezing it somemore and then made a sharp point at the end of it. Sub-Zero stood there, waiting for Cavlote to break free from the ice.
After a few moments Cavlote broke free as Sub-Zero suspected him to. Cavlote leaped up from the ground. Sub-Zero then threw the iceicle straight toward Cavlote. When he turned around he felt a pain in his chest. Cavlote had been struck by the iceicle making him bleed badly.
Cavlote let out a huge howl. This loud noise made Sub-Zero cover his ears, but the noise was too loud. Sub-Zero fainted. With all of Cavlote's energy that he had left he picked Sub-Zero up and threw him off of the cliff, along with Frost.
Cavlote was wounded, but he was still alive. He travled down the mountain until he came to a hospital. He then there was healed. When he recovered he went back to Outworld. Although he has avenged Noob-Saibot, he still had Shang Tsung to still destroy forever. For now he serves Shao Kahn, and waits the return of Shang Tsung.
