I hate the face
I included facial damage. I fancy that. Changes: -shoulder platings, and gauntlets, shoulder and forearm spikes on the right arm, 14 century japanese underhelm headwear, leg plating coming from above downward, originally the opposite way, more ornaments, facial damage, infantry flags attached with metal rings as they were in history, infantry flags don't have bamboo poles, but thicker wood for endurance, loincloath with a Hotaru (firefly) sign and random seidan insignia, hair more longer and thicker, face less older than he is actually shown (though battered nevertheless-this one needs a bit explaining. I devised theese pictures for my MK7 project, and some of the characters had to resemble the changes I have intended. So..excuse me if he looks more beat up than in Dairous ending)

Nice work. I admit when I first seen this one, I wasnt too fussed, as i didnt think it looked too much different from his MKD. But I suppose in a way thats good too. Sometimes too big a jump in design is a bad thing.

Very awesome. His helmet looks kinda like Havik's. His armor is better looking and has a nice design to it. The symbols on the thing that hang from his belt (don't know what you call those, the ninjas have them too) look nice. My only complaint would be the blade on his spear, it's just too dull looking, make the blade bigger and give it a tribal-style shape or something to make it stand out more to match with his armor. 5/5
The symbol is one of the written japanese equivalents of the word Hotaru, meaning firefly. The symbols the ninjas (Sub-Zero has them in MKDA) are either chinese or fictional..or both.
the blade is intentionally thin, the naginata has a thinner blade, resemb-ling a katana (hence the meaning of naginata, sword bladed spear) unlike most halberds like the short handled Pudao, or the Kwan Dao (both of them chinese)
