From your point of wiew perhaps. IMO Kitana should be covered more, I think she is serious enough NOT to fight in a dress allowing almost every single portion of her body to be unguarded. This applies especialy for wo-men, since it's more common for men to strip themselves of gear either for complete freedom of movement, or becouse of male-dominative beha-ior.

Anatomy. There are no muscles like that. There are no breasts like that either. People don't stand that way, too. Her legs and feet looks like if she had multiple brokes and/or is levitating. The face is just weird and she looks like if she had her eyes cut up, while the ponytail looks like if it was made up from a rubber hose. And she has... an Addam's apple???? (Ew, dude... just tell me it's a necklace or something, and she's in fact not one of them the dickgirls, okay?)

The scan quality is just BAD. Why didn't you clean up even by gamma/contrast adjust?? Not to mention properly cropping and sizing the image... No excuse for a laziness.

-have you ever modelled after leather armor? The breasts had to be streched aside in leather armors. You really think you can go deflecting blows when you have two 1/2 kg muscle bouncing left-right on your chest? The reason to make the attack surface more frictionless is becouse you need to deflect or slide away the sucked up strikes. Womens breasts were "taped" sideways or got a second layer of boiled leather, called
"mellvéd" in my country. besides, few females actualy saw battle.

-background is not included. I never intended to make her stand, you got that right. His legs muscles are relaxed and I am sad to admit, but I had to model them after my own stance (and feet).

-have you ever considered that I don't have the means to clean out the picture properly becouse of ages old hard and software? Not everyone's a millionaire, and you shouldn't be jumping to conclusions so fast. Second thing, I wasn't in charge of the scanning, so I don't have nothing to do with it.

Overall, few of your points aer actually valid, considering I have given the answers shortly after you (validly!) tried to bring up a few issues concer-ning my drawing.

1. Hands. One hand actually, as the other one's invisible (not much is visible, anyway).

2.Uh, WHAT? Unlike male, female breasts are not "muscles"... They're flesh, fat actually. Stretching breasts aside is just weird and I have no idea what are you talking about.

Also, there are plenty of a women warriors. In the ninja clans both genders were fighters, while in Israel the women service in the IDF is mandatory fro everyone; in basically every European, S-E Asian or Latin American guerilla-type army women fight on a first lines, too... I think everywhere besides the Arab Islamists, actually (specifically Arabs, because even the Iranians have an armed women militias).

3. You need only ACDSee (not even graphic, but just image browsing program) and like maybe 10 seconds to clean up and resize a pic even on Pentium 2 or whatever, and you need only MS Paint to crop (again, you can do it in 5 seconds). Not a big deal, really.

OK, now I see what you were talking about.

1. the right hand (her left on the picture): wel, those are not muscles but blood pouring down. The curved lines tht dfolow it are on his gauntlet.

2. well, streching breasts may be weird, but it's the only way to protect you and your breasts under leather armor. Weird or not, it is the only way to get them protected against slices and bruises. One of the womans most sen-sitive parts for damage are the breasts. I tell that from experience as an actual armorer.

3. I'm not comparing Kitana to modern day warriors or the ones in our recent history, but to medieval times Clearly Outworld and Edenia lices in a middle-ages like period of time. And trust me, there weren't so much women as warriors even in those times. Female ninjas were actually more likely to be assassins (noichi) than hand to hand combatants. Many people tend to believe that there were women who were equals to male warriors in those times...well, they weren't.

the second one looks great too but like i said in my last post i dont see the personality of kitana. when i hears "kitana" i saw a beautiful woman and a bit sexy. like in mkda more like ninja girl. in this she looks like a geisha. but i love the drawing thats great 9.5/10. the drawing is a good idea for a warlord girl like shao kahns wife with armor and all...

I intended to show how she would look in reality as an assassin. Her structure should be a little more stronger as I made it in the first picture. The other one, I dunno, I was tired of the constant revealing costumes. I tried to represent her charm without the physical lure. Not to mention, if shes a royalty, than she has to have a majestical clothing, not?

P.S: the second drawing is based completely on chinese robes, NOT japanese. Maybe the pins make it look like that.

Well yes. That was the only thing that bugged me when I finished her. But, since Kitana of eastern orient, she isn't really tall. At least she shouldn't be.
