my last work on this week, I had some ideas for Lao, and I came up with the conclusion, that MK:SM Lao looks horrible. This one combines his MK2 wardrobe with the one worn in MK:DA as secondary. The broad sword is a bit short as you may wonder, but thats intentional.

Hmmmm...i'll be honest, im not to keen about it. Though i like the shadow and the picture is quite smooth.

thats GREAT*****. i love it its like the future kung lao at 40 or 50 year old. i love all detail. its a really great drawing. 10/10!

PS: if u can post it bigger it would be great for see detail wink

your art is reeeally freakin good, but you should work on facial expressions. most of your characters are just kind of looking off into space, like "sure I'm gonna get chopped in half, but it would really suck if I left the coffee on"................ and why does everyone have a goatee?

the whole idea of the face is that:
1. Kung Lao is around his late 30's
2. how do they shave in Outworlds wilderness?
3. I wanted to make him more reminiscent to his original actor.

But thanks for the feedback. And sorry if I forgot his insignia from him.

Seriously, though, I'm actually surprised you thought of that. It's one of those little details nobody picks up on, and then they feel really stupid for not picking up on. Excellent work.

Damn, this one kicks ass, the detail again is amazing in the clothing, the shading is so nice. Can't take my eyes off it, yea like people said, try to work on the face if you can. I totally love the outfit.
