my bad. You need to do some more editing. Right now it's look too much like a copy and paste job, but I really like that cool ice effect though. Like I said though, it's decent for a first fake.

Not bad for a first. I love the action, and you picked good sprites. Though I like the ice effect, the sprites are rather blurry, and it takes away from the fake. The lifebars are inacurate, too. Next time try to do more editing, and none of this Mortal Kombat II characters on an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 background stuff.

The idea is kool, and the ice looks very good. The only problems I see are:

1. Background is from MKIII and you used MKII sprites
2. The name bars aren't low enough.

I dont understand why ppl make such a big deal over life bars....I hardly ever look at them in fakes. Also, what's the big deal if he uses mk2 sprites on a mk 3backgroud? I actually prefer the look of the mk2 sprites.

Something I just noticed is that Sub-Zero's position in the air is different then the placing that Scorpion is getting frozen.

I really like this one. It's a great idea for a special move Sub-Zero could have in the new game. A jumping over the opponent and freezing them at the same time...great idea. The ice effects are great and the sprites are perfect for the part. The only thing I don't like is the MK3 background. 4.5/5

Ulcatron,I think you did a pretty nice job for your first time. I understand what your idea was,But the way Sub-Zero is positioned in the air,It looks like he is just striking a pose instead of actually freezing Scorp. I do like the Ice effect you used,But Scorps body seems a little off so to say.

All in all.

I'll give you a 3/5. Dont worry you will get better.

I like the freezing effect. Scorpion seems a little pale though.


There's nothing wrong with MKII sprites on a MK3 BG. I can see not using MK1 sprites, but that's because they're blurry.
