I'm a newbie when it comes to coloring with photoshop/photostudio. Im currently using Arcsoft Photostudio to color two of my drawings but Im having trouble. I remembered that Photoshop had an option where your drawing's could not be colored over(The outline of the drawing was not effeced by the colors). Is there a way to do this with Photostudio? It's incredibly hard to color a drawing when I have to keep zooming in and out to get all the creases without coloring over the outline.

i've got corel draw 8, and am a `newbie` too. I found that by selecting `multiply` instead of `normal` when airbrushing i can colour in leaving the lines- ie the airbrush multiplies the colour it`s painting onto with that it`s painting with.

Just make a dedicated channel for your line-art - that way you can colour behind your pic wink

I just did a little browsing and I found a tutorial for JASC PaintShop Pro:

and Adobe Photoshop:

Personally, I use Photoshop for everything. I've been using it for awhile now as my job requires it...

I'm in the process of learning Painter.
