Okay, you know how in MK games, especially in Trilogy, you can play as a character while seeing that same character in the background (e.g. Cyrax vs. Cyrax in Jade's Desert, Sonya vs. Kano in Khan's Arena)? Well, in sprite comics, people often put Shao Khan sprites in Khan's Kave, but never know what to do about the fact that Khan is also in the background. So I made this cute joke about a Shao Khan statue inside the cave, where you figure that Shang is talking to the real guy, only to figure out that THAT's the statue.

Undoubtedly, this explanation will completely change your perception of the comic.
