I've never liked that guy's art. There is such a thing as too much detail and he crossed that line, circled the Earth and crossed it again, then walked back over to it just to be sure, dropped his pants, and took a piss on it.
It's like, what am I even looking at in some of these? It reminds me of trying to make out people from a helicopter, "they all look like ants from up here!" In the latest one, of Frost, where are her elbows? Where are her feet? What is going on with this outfit? I bet if he drew Smoke's Deception costume, he'd scribble in every single individual nanite.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I like a few of these (especially the Dairou vs Hotaru pic), and it's obvious he put a lot of effort into drawing them, but for the most part there's just way too much going on and everything's just too extreme. I almost missed Jarek in the Black Dragon group pic and didn't realize Mavado was on a horse the first look through...at least I think that was a horse.

All you guys are seriously on something if you dont think this guys art is straight up AMAZING, no questions asks, his style is really sick, especially how he pays attention to every little detail, its unbelievable. You just dont understand his syle, open your eyes and you will see great things. Its pure TALENT and EPICNESS, all haters need to stop hatin.

Art isn't just about technical skill. He's clearly got a lot of talent but the way he's using it is about as appealing as taking a beautiful woman, then looking at her through a microscope so all you can see are the individual skin cells.

It depends on what you WANT to look at.
Look at this:

Collectively, it's almost overwhelming in how much visual stimuli it throws at you. Paintings, sculpture, designs, trims, architecture, all mingled together. It looks like a big mess at first, but when you look closer at the attention to details, the images within the images, the designs within the designs, then you see the art.
Some people prefer things simple. Others like them with flourish. Still others like them extravagant to the point of overload. I can admire both streamlined design as well as complex creations.

I respect the artist, but on some of his/her stuff I cant tell what I'm looking at, there is just too much going on. Its kinda like a magic eye drawing.
But stil its good but confusing. In short.
