(Much like I'm still waiting on TomTaz to do, CecilBDemented, I would like it if you IMed me your thoughts on what I could change about this story to make your character sound closer to what you would like him to be. Also, TomTaz, I would like for you to IM me your opinions on what could change with Gemini since I'm trying to make a storyline between them continue from our fight.)
Throughout his recent journeys in Outworld, Void has learned so much about the universe. No longer being ignorant about the struggle with the Deadly Alliance and, now, Onaga, Void is slowly learning the one thing that neither his deceased friend and mentor, Jason, or Sub-Zero, before he went on his quest to stop the Deadly Alliance, were able to teach him at his young age...discipline. After his encounter with Amara, he spent the next few days learning from her, occasionally sparring with her. He even had a few encounters with Kraya, and somehow managed to survive. After a few days, Void and Gemini each continued their own separate agendas. Void made a promise that anytime she may need help, he would always be there for Amara...maybe even Kraya. In the meantime, however, Void vowed to find Sub-Zero and Frost in Outworld. He recently learned from Amara that the Deadly Alliance had defeated Earthrealm's warriors and even the thunder god Raiden. The victory was short-lived, however, as the return of Onaga, the Dragon King, posed an even bigger threat not only to Earthrealm, but to all of existance. Understanding the significance of this threat, Void still, however, had the Tekunin and Sektor in the back of his mind.
Void stopped to rest. He pulled out a cigarette and struck a match to light it, the match was blown out. He struck another match yet the wind picked up even more and blew the flame out. He tried a third time and a sudden gust of wind hit Void hard and knocked him back. As Void sat up and brushed himself off, the one known as Shou Lee was standing before him. Appearantly Shou Lee had mistaken Void for a Brotherhood of Shadow or some other evil being based on Void's clothes. Without explanation and before Void could even rise to his feet, Shou Lee sprung an attack. Void rolled out of the way as Shou Lee attempted an attack with a short wooden stick. Seeing this, Void picked up his kendo stick he had dropped when he was knocked back by the wind Shou Lee hit him with and prepared for battle. Instead of being the aggressor as always, Void played it smart and waited for Shou Lee to make the first move. He continued to use smarts instead of fury and it proved to work as he matched as skilled a fighter as Shou Lee blow for blow. Both fighters had dropped their weapons and continued fighting. Shou Lee was attacking Void with his Kung Fu style, when Void began implying his shoot fighting techniques. Shou Lee came at Void with a powerful backhand blow which sent Void to the ground. Shou Lee approached Void but had his legs swept out from under him. Void mounted Shou Lee and began striking him in the head with fists and elbows and headbutts and palm strikes until Shou Lee rolled over onto his stomach where Void locked on a quarter-nelson and grabbed Shou Lee by the back of his head and slammed his face into the ground repeatedly. Void backed off of Shou Lee as he slowly made it to his feet. Seeing that Void was not attacking and was merely defending himself, Shou Lee realized that the man he attacked was not an evil entity. However, Shou Lee, hating most everything in existance, did not offer an apology and, with a gust of wind, disappeared.
Void had won the fight. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, taking a brief moment to remember his fallen mentor, Jason. Void is finally tapping into his full potential, and vowed to never rest until he is among Earthrealms greatest warriors.

Arh-Him was hiding in the shadows and saw everything that The Dragon King had done to the world. He wanted the power that the Dragon King but he was not shure that he can enter a fight with these peale becouse he didn't know much about them. Once when he was passing near Shao Khans temple when he sudenly stoped with his eyes glowing and he started to smell something
Arh-Him: *Sniff* Hmm...a familuar smell. Is it really him? But where could he be? He looked around him but he couldn't see much in the dark. Then he saw a glow of blue and red eyes. Noob Saibot and Smoke appear before him. He already met Noob in the past but never fought with him, but he never saw the other one with a metall head and a body of smoke.
Noob Saibot to Smoke: Well let's try you out shall we??? Attack him and kill him!!!
Smoke attacks Arh-Him. Arh-Him draws his sword and a battle starts. Smoke attacked Arh-Him with his Mit Zu attacks but becouse Arh-Him is also a master of this art he could easyly fortell his attacks. After a few minutes Arh-Him damaged Smoke with his Claws and Tan-Jen(his sword). When he saw that smoke is wounded he decides to disappear becouse he didn't know if he could handle 2 foes if Noob Saibot attacked. After Srh-Him ran away Noob Saibot walks up to Smoke
Noob Saibot: Not strong enough yet huh??? Well I'll give you some backup for now. I still need you to create a army of souldiers like yourself.

AJ, I answered you here in this thread, because I'm never sure if people will get my PM's these days and supplied my Email address if you wanted to talk further. Sorry, I thought you would have seen it. You did a fine job in your portrayal of Gemini, I think you got her down pretty good personality wise.

Tempest vs April -
===========================
Tempest had defeated Ipol at the House of Pekara and continued on his quest to defeat Raiden in the Temple of Mortal Kombat. Venturing across the vast barren wastelands of outworld, Tempest came across a young warrior whose sole purpose was to gain vengence on Sonya Blade. The young warrior went by the name of April, and she had learnt of Sonya's mission to Shang Tsung's palace. That is where April set out for, and nothing would stop her from achieving her goal - nothing except the guardian of the realm of chaos...
After the exhausting, arduous treck across the Outworld Tempest wanted some amusement. He approached April, who was wandering aimlessly around in the wastelands. She had set out for the palace not knowing its location and had ended up far off course, lost and in need of direction. He challenged her to fight him. If she won, he would reveal to her the location of Shang Tsung' s palace, however if he won he would take her beautiful, rare Lisku Knives. Knowing the predicament she found herself in, she reluctantly agreed.
Tempest underestimated his opponent, and suffered some unexpected and somewhat unjust blows. However, true quality in kombat shone through the early surprising setbacks and although it was not the Flawless Victory he had anticipated, it was still a resounding victory. He looked down upon her as April lay in a pool of her own blood, badly injured from the torrent of attacks that finished her off. He was to destroy her soul, but resisited as he had a more important task ahead, and needed to conserve his energies...
He knelt down beside the defeated warrior and whispered in her ear, "Foolish mortal...beware the wrath of the Tempest" and with that he grasped her knives, stood and turned to leave, then suddenly he turned back to her and thrust the Lisku knives into both of her kneecaps. April screamed out in agony, the pain echoed for miles across the wind-swept plains of Outworld. Tempest let out a disturbingly evil laugh, and then disappeared in an instant to continue on his quest.

The relatively peacefull aura of the monastery has been broken when the red skinned murderer flew trough the front door, annihilating anything in it's path. The psychotic howl echoed through the environs as the battered body of the serial murderer rolled out of harms way.
.... "the gauntlet pounded on his forehead, the blood ran down on his face, and being decimated by the iron heel. The foot trampled on his chest, then the legs locked around his neck when he got the upper hand for a minute, and while being dragged to the ground by the ironman, he broke his nose on the cold ground of the arena" ....
The spectators were silent. This battle was not on the battle plans list. However , it was more bloodier than the few fights before nightfall. The maniac employed by Outworlds sorcerer elite, "Redskin", originaly known as Nicklebopper got up with intensive show of force, bleeding from numerous wounds. His face showed both undesribable anger and elemental fear. Fear from the few true champions of Shang Tsung.
.... "no he didn't deserve to die like this! more murder would be velcomed, and this outsider takes his place as the favourite of the Shadow Priests and Tsung. No! He was always loyal, he was always a good killer! he even killed when it was unasked! And now, this ousider takes all his glory, commands the forces that were supposed to be his! But he is too much to take! "....
The ear-shredding noise of the steel blade dragged on the ground made the monster even more irritated. It's human eyes, tainted with the use of the shadow priests brewerages, were full of sweat, tear and blood. The mouth, full of flesh tearing small fangs of a human, were shaking, sho-wing signs of heavy nerve trauma on the facial structure. The face was covered with the charred imprint of a right hand.
.... the punishmet would mean his end! There ould be no use for him, when he is going to be left in disgrace! No killing....
A dark, chromatic gauntlet grabbed slowl the remains of the dor, and broke it down. Nicklebopper backed, and tried to crawl away from the one he could not let to live, yet again, the decisive victor of the battle.
...."the long, incredibly intense kicks and the grapples that broke almost every bone in his body, those were the show of true force. No matter how hard he tried, he could not best the provincial ruler or whatever he was...
and the final blows: the falling kick that broke the shoulders bones, and the thro tha folowed...everything is so cold,..so cold.".....
The figure stepped from the dark mouth of the corridor and sowly walked towards the battered body of the asssailant. The one known as Nickle-boper, beast in the confines of the Shadow Priests was frozen in his own blood. But he was still alive. The knight shook his head. No one survives the punishment he serves that easily, even if he is incapacitated.
He raised the claymore in his hands and stood above the victim of his wrath. It was his own choice afterall, no one akes an assassination attempt on his life, and lives...the claymore was lowered. The blade slowly moved toward the ruined face of the body, and suddenly, it was swung across the air, and it rested on the knights shoulders once again. Templar walked away.
This pityful creature deserves not to die...

i know i might be alittle late for this battle but here it is. Stevo i hope you approve of it....It was a close vote so i didnt want a 1,2, hit its over. And Emanon didnt kill April obviously because she just fought Temptest. so this is the start of Emanons entry to the story and also explains how Her and April met up to fight and how April got out alive. I will post the battle between Emanon and Mychau in a little if thats ok with Mychau's creator.
As Emanon rose out of the former temple of the Chaos God which contained her imprisoned portal entrance she immediately embraced the feel of wind and light, which returned her sense of freedom. Almost as soon as she could embrace the feel of freedom the grounds shook, The light immdiately stopped shinning as pitch black clouds rumbled across the sky, the wind stopped dead.
*Meanwhile in Earthrealm...
Raiden: (with an uneasy look on his face) "As if one wasn't enough, (reference to Onaga)... now two."
Just as Emanon emerged from behind the doors the chaos monks chanted louder and stronger chants to try and return Emanon into her prison. Emanon almost overlooked the monks in her embracement of freedom.
(These chaos monks are the monks you see chanting in chaos realm in front of the temple you cant enter in MKD konquest)
Emanons' goal before her imprisonment was not forgotten. She will continue her blood spill until chaos is brought to all. Emanon's psychotic nature tainted her vision of what true chaos is and led her before her imprisonment on a rampage-killing spree.
As Emanon looked around a lot has changed, thousands of years have passed, thousands of years, which she lay bound up only to increase her psychotic thoughts of what chaos is.... her chaos.
Upon walking out of the temple the monks chants had no effects on her. Mere words that are intended to confine only enraged Emanon who was tired of confinement and she attacked. The monks had no chance as they had no defense. Emanon swiftly like the wind that had just died brought death as she found pleasure in disembauling the monks.
The bloodshed of the monks was a feeling long missed. As Emanon wandered about chaos realm she indulged in random killings as she sought out the extent of change brought on by time. Soon she crossed paths with a being that seemed not of the Chaos realm. Emanon was confused...whilst in her prison time continued and eventually allowed for the travel between realms, this ability was only obtained by the most powerful sorcerers and beings long ago.
Emanon was enraged; the thought that mere individuals are able to cross realms gave her a feeling of order. Before only powerful beings could cross into other realms and to see those beings long ago from other realms established power and chaos...chaos in the sense that one does not belong in that realm, if anyone could cross then the sense of chaos would be lost. Emanon figured the large portal gates she saw earlier was the means of the realm traveling. She planned to destroy the portal gate in the Chaos realm after she had dealt with this inferior creature.
April was in the midst of searching the Chaos realm for Sonya as her attempts in the other realms came up with no results.
Emanon: "How dare you insult me by entering my realm"
April: "leave me alone you meanie my business is not with you"
(Emanon was jestered by her innocent appearance)
Emanon: "I am not big on words, nor am I big on explanations, if you wish to enter the realm of chaos then the chaos will consume you!!"
Emanon sprung at April who stood in an innocent manner. April quickly maneuvered out of the way and brushed Emanon off. Emanon was not worried. She quickly dropped April through a floor portal, which re-opened and dropped her from above to the ground. April was confused as to what had just happened. This was a power she had never heard of. the power to control portals and gravita. April new she had to be on her feet for this one. In a cute fashion April blew a kiss at Emanon and poof! Gone. The next thing Emanon knew she had knives in her back. Turning around she saw April who was now behind her. Emanon simply reached behind her back and pulled each one out dropping them to the floor. Unlike anything April had witnessed the instant Emanon drew out a knife her wounds seemed to spontaneously heal.
Emanon: my my you mortals have really learned some new tricks while I was gone havenât you.
(April in contrast to her intense fighting behavior responded with a giddish commentâ?
April: who me? Maybe :) (April smiles with her glossy lips)
Emanon: âWell if its tricks you want, I have a few you would just die for.â?
With that Emanon snapped her fingers and April was curious to what that meant. In seconds April was engulfed in a flame that struck her back and burned throughout her body. April staggered to one knee panting as that blow took a lot out of her. Thinking to herself April thought:
(What the hell was thatâ¦all she did was snap, no one could possess that much power. I cant stand another attack like that.)
Little did April know Emanon performed a Snap Summon. One of several moves Emanon knew that were lost throughout the ages. April thought to herself she had to get out of there. Though this was a fight she wanted to finish the odds were against her and she knew nothing of this fighters powers. April couldnât risk the chance of dying before she met up with Sonya. April stayed kneeling until Emanon approached her. As soon as Emanon got close April immediately did a back flip away from her kicking Emanon in her stomach and head immediately followed by another kick to the stomach once April landed. As the last kick to the stomach moved Emanon slightly back Aprilâs eyes started to glow very bright which made Emanon slightly squint and in a instant with the sound of a kiss April seemed to have vanished as if she teleported.
Emanon stood and thought to herselfâ¦(Yes indeed new tricks they have learned)
Emanon knew that the battle would have lasted seconds if not for mayhems curse and the bindings she still had from the Elder Gods clothing, these two things held back Emanons true power. First she had to find mayhems remaining kin and destroy whomever may be left and break free from mayhems curse so she can have enough power to remove the Elder Gods bindings and restore her true power, then she would be free to bring chaos on the scale she had dreamed of for the last thousands of years. And who said she couldnât kill a few on the wayâ¦.maybe a hundred thousand or two.

Not sure if anybody has time these days for themselves, so good luck in finding someone who can help you out with that one.

Saika- worried?
Templar looked suspiciously exhausted and drained ever since the assassination atempt by the mad servant of the Lead Shadow Priest.
Somehow he became even more silent an self-absorbed than before, Saika did not wanted to push matter further, so she didn't ask again.
Templar- matters are getting worse.
Saika- are you referring to the quest you took up?
Templar- no. The gathering of information is faring well, but...
Saika- what?
Templar pulled the chainmail scarf off of his face and released his long
black hair from the hairtie. His eyes were normal now, only a faint glow
surrounded the otherwise green eyes. His face was pale and looked sick.
Templar- something terrible is going to happen. I feel it within him. -and
so he tapped his forehead with his finger. Saika could only gamble with
the meaning of the thoughts. She wasn't sure enough to consider
Templar completely allright. They looked at each other for a second and
Templar slowly moved away, continuing his pace on the corridors leading
to the main halls.
Hundreds of fighters were enhoying the rest of their lives within the tourna-ment here. the majority here was only fodder for the real fighters. As the templar arrived a corridor opened up in the crowd as a sign of respect. He, the templar had a strangely efficient bodycount in the tournament, but also, he only killed when he had to. hose were given a mercyfull and quick death, but consulting the other witnesses, Templars methods of finishing were often considered lazy and simple, such like beheading from his claymore.
Saika- several new warriors have entered the tournament grounds, either
residing here in the monastery, or in the environs according to the Shade
Priests. Some of them wander around here, such like another Earthly
warrior, calls himself Void. another is unfamiliar to me and she is
ca...there she is!....
As Templar looked on the beautyfull red haired woman who was standing across the main chamber, he was astonished. There was more of a duality in her than in his own mind. Templar shook for a second. And the steel coat of chain was clinking at an unnoticably low melody.
Saika- whats wrong?
Templar- she is going to best me. There is a high probability that she may
even killl me. My time is probably coming faster than I thought it seems.
"and you're not far from the truth young aprentice"
Templars mind immediatly turned to the familiar whisper, but there was noone around having the adwantage of suprising him. Except if.... but that
possibility would have topped all of his exceptions. If HE was to be here, that would have to mean something what would be of great importance.
Saika- whats wrong? You're behaving strange lately. And whats with the low confidence in yourelf?
Templar stared at the face of Saika, and somehow a strange confidence overcame him. he took another look at the female warrior in the corner of the chamber. both of them noticed each other. it was a moment of clarity.
The first battle was over. And there was no victor nor a defeated.
Templar- my mission has lost it's importance for this day. There is a
greater challenge I must attend to. -Shang Tsung and the Death Yellers
would be dissapointed if I lose my life to her..
Saika- fighting against Gemini. You're right. This is going to be devasta-
ting for both of you.
Templar- Should I win or lose, survive or die, the outcome is certain: we are both evenly divided and matched. -Templar errupted in a sad laugh as he prepared for one of the hardest fight of his life. Fighting against Gemini.
Shadow Priest- attention! A challenge has been made! Lady Gemini has
wished to oppose templar in Mortal Kombat! Battle shall take place at
moonrise.
Gemini / Templar- So be it! -both of them smiled.

As the sun set shadows and spirits were the least of children bed time fears. Like a thief in the night Emanon swept across villages killing enough to bring chaotic screams to these people who never knew true chaos. Their lives forever tainted with horror and pandemonium.
Across a calm grassland Emanon walked as the sun set in the horizon. It seemed that Emanon was splitting day and night as the evening shadow that brought night and conquered day crept slowly directly beyond Emanon as if night feared crossing infront of her and day ran away in fear of Emanon stepping on it. Soon she could see a person in the distance.
As Emanon came closer bringing night with her there seemed a sense of ying and yang. On one side stood day and a hero-like image standing unyieldingly to the on coming darkness and on the other night bringing with it all the horrors of the imagination. Emanon continued to the man and cried out with a laugh:
Emanon: "ÂÂ ha! Finally, I sense you contain a passion of hate against someone, and also great strength"ÂÂ?
Rachnor: Â" You are not the one I seek. Onaga is the only name that is suitable to taste my weapon."ÂÂ?
Emanon: "ÂOh but to use a weapon that is only destined for one being against another being would certainly breaks its order of existence would it not? And I can see in your eyes that you have struck down another.....im sorry I mean 2 others with your weapon have you not."
Rachnor: "ÂÂI have only struck those who have gotten in my way."ÂÂ?
Emanon: "ÂÂWhich way is it that you travel?"
Rachnor: "ÂÂI feel my enemy's presence to the West"ÂÂ?
Emanon: "Oh my would you look at me...I seem to be standing just West of you...And I do not feel like moving."
Rachnor: "ÂÂThen I will move you."
Emanon: "If you move me it will only be because I move my hand into your spine."
Rachnor: "ÂÂI have heard of you...YouâÂÂre the one rumored to be bent on chaos but is blinded by your psychotic passion for death so you murder senselessly. No one knows where you truly come from but that is of no concern to me. If you wish to stand in my path then I will strike you down. No threat will come my way again...by the way, I have a message from Mychau for you."
Emanon approached Rachnor and a battle started. Rachnor quickly gained an upper hand. Emanon felt as though she was fighting two beings. Rachnors weapons seemed to be in sync with his every move. Emanon tried a snap summon but Rachnor quickly side stepped and the flaming Inferno shot torwards Emanon. She quickly side stepped which left her vulnerable for an attack...an attack Rachnor wasnâÂÂt hesitant to take. His weapon like second nature shot out at Emanon and wrapped around her throat several times until there was nothing left to swing and the metal ball smashed into Emanons face. Emanon got up and unraveled the chain and as she dropped it to the floor the ball and chain slithered back to rachnor like a snake.
Emanon: "ÂÂInteresting weapon you have."
Rachnor: "ÂA weapon is something you use and is merely an object...this is a part of me, an extension of my being, its my sarodo."
Emanon: "ÂÂThen im gonna have to kill you...and your little pet too."ÂÂ?
That was the only break in the fight...The battle would only last a few seconds afterwards. It seemed as if Rachnor could have defeated Emanon at any point but prolonged the fight little as if he was observing Emanons battle techniques. Emanon attempted to throw Rachnor into a portal like she had previously did to Mychau but Rachnor was smarter. Instead Rachnor allowed Emanon to throw him away and as he ran torwards the swirling portal that would shoot his body back torwards Emanon he flung sarodo into it instead and side stepped out the way. Immediately the ground seemed to have shot up around Rachnor and Emanon was caught off guard by this as it seemed to rain metal raindrops. Emanon frantically tried to brush away the metal that rained down on her forgetting about her portal she opened which just now spit out Rachnors sarodo. The sarodo hurled back at Emanon as the portal spit it out and it was too late even for Emanon to dodge. The Weapon blasted into Emanons chest knocking her down. Rachnor summoned sarodo back and he was barely out of breath. He approached Emanon:
Rachnor: "You are a threat, i have seen all that was, is and will come and i cannot let you live for if you retain your powers then Onaga not be the only who threatens the realms. As i said before...all will fall who are in my path. "
Emanon: (Whispering from pain) "All may fall but I will not stay down. Enjoy your victory warrior for I enjoy my loss...IF A WARRIOR ALWAYS WINS, THEN CHAOS CAN ONLY BE BROUGHT IF HE LOSES."
With that last sentence a swirling black shadow appeared beneath Emanon where she lay and she sank into it. Emanon was gone. Rachnor stood there letting her words sink in...he pondered to himself:
Rachnor: (thinking) "ÂÂShe is a being of chaos, so did she lose on purpose so that she would not remain undefeated and instill chaos in her life as a warrior, or did I really defeat her? I forsaw this battle but what actions occur from a result of it are yet to be seen, I cannot let her regain her true power, However in her current state she is no threat and either way I have another victory and I will continue my path to defeat Onaga, watching her moves has increased my knowledge of fighting and it will prove to my advantage when I defeat Onaga."
-meanwhile-
Emanon: "Damnet! Damn you Mayhem. I remember now the curse you placed on me. I will find your last remaining kin and kill him...Only then will my true power be released. Until then IâÂÂll be wary of the limited powers I pocess. Yes Rachnor enjoy your victory indeed, for when I am free of these bindings I will release chaos on you and all like a force never seen...who is Onaga? And why does he search for him...interesting."(smiles)
Emanon smiled at her defeat, because of Mayhem'ÂÂs curse chaos has been set in her life by instilling slight order in the form of limited power, and with this limited power she was vulnerable to mortal attacks. Emanon now remembers the curse that Mayhem placed on her before his death and is now searching for his last of kin...but who says she cant kill a few on her way...or a few thousand.

About Me

Location: Perliminary Floor.
A strange warrior makes his way trough the crowd. He moves quickly leaving a strange power in his wake. The warrior is shrouded in a dark cloak, and his head is covered with a hood. He moves through the crowd, making his way to a group of fighters in one area of the room. One fighter, a huge muscular shokan sees the warrior and purposely steps foreward and bumps into him. The warrior steps back, but says nothing.
Shokan- Watch your step worm, or I'll break you in half.
The warrior clad in black says nothing.
Shokan- Do not ignore me. I have enough power to turn you inside out.
The warrior still says nothing....
Frustrated, the shokan lifts the warrior up by his cloak and lifts him into the air, shaking him violently.
Shokan- Why do you not speak? Does my mass frighten the little worm?
The warrior suddenly kicks the shokan in the face, breaking his nose on impact. The shokan lets out a loud roar as blood drips into his eyes, blinding him for a second
The warrior lands and looks up at the Shokan, a red glow can be seen from under the hood.
Warrior- You have size, but that is all. I suggest you stay where you are. Size doesn't always gaurantee a victory, or supremecy for that matter.
Shokan- You will pay dearly for that.....(Roars)
The crowd instantly forms into a circle, and work up into a frenzy. Among the onlookers, Gemini, Templar, and Saika observe the fight.
Saika- What IS that thing?
Templar- That is what we call "shokan" a race of humanoid beings crossed with dragons. A very powerful race of beings who once ruled Outworld under the banner of it's emperor, Shao Khan. However, their leader, Prince Goro joined the Edenian resistance and faught bravely in battle. He was wounded in battle and later passed away. Ever since then, the shokan tribes have fallen apart and have become nothing more but scavangers. It appears on of them has made his way into the Mortal Kombat. I'm more intrested in the cloaked fighter however. There's something terribley unsetlling about him.
The warrior in black suddenly creates a screaming ring of green fire around himself and the shokan. A nearby fighter is caught in the flame and is dissolved instantly into a pile of ash.
Shokan- You have signed your own death warrent....
The shokan jumos high into the air and comes down with tremendous force, causing an earthquake under his feet, shaking the cloaked warrior. He shoots a skull shaped fire ball from his mouth at extreme speed and aimed at the warrior. It hits it's mark, sending the warrior backwards, up in flames.
The shokan grins and straights out.
Shokan- Ha, a worm all the same.
The warrior gets back up, with some of the cloak on his right arm burnt off, revealing a rib shaped gauntlet.
Warrior- I'll give you one final try to finish me off before I kill you. Make this one count.
The shokan, a little distraught that somebody could survive a blast like that takes the opportunity and leaps even higher into the air, touching the domed ceiling, then pushing off and storming back down at the warrior.
The warrior looks up from the corner of his cloak and clenches his fist.
The shokan crash lands right on top of the warrior, creating a crater underneath him. He lets out a sinsiter grin as if to say "it's Over" Suddenly he hears a voice behind him, whispering into his ear.
Warrior- That was your last chance. Now it's time for you to die.
The shokan turns around with a backfist, but only strikes the air behind him.
The warrior flips right over him and lands on the other side. The blade on his arm is covered in blood. The surrounding flames subside revealing both warriors. Suddenely, a geysur of blood shoots out of the Shokan, as his body falls slides verticley apart. The blade on the warriors arm sinks back into his arm as he departs the arena, with the other warriors creating a path. As he leaves, he shoots a look at Saika from under his hood.......

Okay, I am dropping some dragon points here in hopes of kicking this back into gear. One dragon point per fight scene, and I may raise it if all goes well.
Be aware, you can create fight scenes for matches your character isn't involved in, if you have the time and wish to do so. I will award dragon points for any fight scenes created.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: i'm wiling to take over anyones storyline if he/she allows it. Since I have the free time to do it, it may be for the better for us to get theese preliminary battles going as fastest we can. But only if you say yes for it. Also, I don't wish for Dragon Points for others battles.
Skein, if I remember right you asked for someone to write the story for your character.

The crowd went silent when the Shadow Priest announced the upcoming battle. The screeching voice of the puppeteers o Mortal Kombat celebrated the mach with great pleasure hidden behind the dark robes hood.
Gemini strapped the last connections of her mask and carefully placed her hair outside the protective gear that guarded her unseen face. When done, she shook her clothing into place and stepped forward to wait at the Priests side.
Templar carefully examined every strech and strap on his gauntlet. When he finished he leaned back, cracked his bones under the heavy burder tasked with protecting him, and walked onward under his black cape.
The two faced each other. Under the mask the sea blue eyes seemed to be frozen in a gaze attached to Templar. The knights eyes glowed in a flaming golden yellow cloud. A faint taste of the unrusting steel filled the air. As they examined each other carefully, botyh of them nodded to the Shadow Priest.
Shadow Priest- very well, may the stronger survive.
Gemini was leated when she moved her fingers quickly enough to get them to fighting condition. Templar slamed both of his gauntlets fists together and created a deep crashing sound that filled the monastery grounds. It was like of a death bell.
Shadow Priest- since two great combatants are facing each other we shall send them to the Falling Cliffs. -saying so a portal opened up and both combatants steppedd through it without backthoughts. The mystic figure of the Priest followed them into the swirling rift, and soon it closed, when the last wave of the robe dissapeared in the vortices.
A sand storm was heading towards the balancing platform from behind the mountains close enough. The Shadow Priest gayed into the distance and then quickly turned towards the fighters.
Shadow Priest- finish each other quickly! Round one! FIGHT!
Both combatants began to circle around each other. Kraya took hung gar, while Templar closed every path to himself with his goshindo stance. He was on the defensive. No wonder, he did not trust the opponent well enough.
Kraya- I nerver thought the great Templar was the son of cowards.
Templar- do I now you mylady? Or are you here to know me better?
Kraya- no I'm not interesetd in you. But, I am interested in seeing your
blood. -she humed and laughed under her nose for a moment, and then instantly struck out to assault Templar.
The clawing attack however was stoppped by the gauntlets timely intervention. Implementing strenght with finesse, a counterattack was made and a punch was thrown. not on the enemy, but rather on the closing fist. Kraya hissed when the iron grasp locked around her right hand, bent it outward and forced her to knee before the knight.
Templar- rather a lousy display of skill after theese monumental words,
don't you think my dear?
Kraya- let go of me fool!
Templar- as you wish my dear. -and saying so he slammed her across her shoulders into the ground. The impact shook the platform and several rocks broke from the edge, falling down to the dark.
Kraya got back on her feet fast enough. She was furious. Noone ever broke her first offensive. But the towering mailclad was somehow weaker than she, that the warrior Kraya knew.
She pounced from the ground delivering a straightforward attack flying low in the air, and bashed herself against the breastplate. Templar had no alternative. He took the attack up, and backed loosing some of his balance when the body made contact with him. The suprise was that Kraya imme-diatly launched a spinning sideways roundhouse, and several short range hand attacks. templar could not avoid them. The damage was countable.
The Shadow Priest smiled. Templar from the chained attack backed several steps, nearing the edge. the platform already shook from the battle and the cliffsides were trembling down into the abyss.
However templar had a few tricks of his own. With a fast countermeasure, he blocked, reversed, bent Kraya out of line of attack, and slamed his palm onto her mask.
Templar- let us see, how you can take the heat of battle mylady. her eyes opened wide. The hot pain released was immense, templars fluid wrath overheated the steel mask what glowed in a slight yellow color.
It was however mercy what saved Kraya. templar didn't want to kill a wo-man this way, and droppped the agonising Kraya. She fell to the ground and threw her charred mask away as fast as she could. The face was unharmed save for the red color. The blue eyes were furious beyond recognition.
Kraya- you shall pay dearly for that dog!
Templar- I do not wish to kill you daughter of Janus. But, I do wish to break some f your bones.
Kraya- you dualised maggot of Outworld, DIE!
A small blue discharge flew out of her forehead, charging up Templar, who fell from the projectile meters backward. Rolling towards the edge, he could do only one thing. A flash. The effect was suprising. Hundreds of silvery snakes errupted from the place where Templar was a heartbeat ago. the creatures swarmed towards kraya, who could not believe her eyes. The snakes merged into a silvery mamatic puddle of glowing gold and silver, rebuilding the templars form while assembling.
Kraya- amusing. I never knew that you was such a snake.
Templar- compare me to a hydra. -he said this overjoyed.
Kraya paused confused- why's that?
Templar- becouse every head you kill grows another two- he smiled and bashed the paused Kraya in the stomach with a sideways palm edge attack. She spat blood on the floor. Soon the warrior female rolled on the ground.
Templar- you focus more on the thrill of battle (he grabbed her leg with both of his hands)...and not paying enough attention on the opponent (he spinned around and Kraya now resided on Templars back)...what is your fatal error! (he slammed her into the ground with all his might. the edge crumbled again, and there was only a small ring-like platform what wasn't enough for both combatants). Kraya stood up after minute. Templar awaited her recovery with silence, standing in a short distantce.
Kraya-you are not the one to lecture me! I am the lecher bith of castigation!
-she smiled and licked her blood from the edge of her lips- crawl with me!
The fury unleashed by her divided mind was more than horrendrous for Templar. While Genkaku, the Illusion creator made his fears look like they were real, Kraya made them actually reappear.
His mind penentrated by an outside force, allowing him to actually hurt himself. he bashed himself around, slammed his head into the ground, and after several minutes (what the Shadow Priest enjoyed so much that he complemented Kraya for her viciousness) Templar snaped at his own neck, suffocatin himself.
Kraya- must be enjoyable commiting suicide, am I right? Don't asy nothing, hush, little knight. You only make things worse if you try to speak. Hahahahahaaa -she leaned towards Templars cheek and slided her bloody tounge down on his face.
Kraya- the dead always taste delicious.
That was the moment when the string was cut. Deep inside, the one soul known as Koshaku cried out in anger for his inability, while the second, the darkness roared up for his survival. That was a strange moment, what templatr remembered untill the end of his time, when the two entities joined forces.
The Pekaran master was behind her. The slightly translucent white-bear-ded master who defeated him ages ago, who helped him in countless situations, who has abandoned him decades ago when he was asleep under the rocks....he was shaking his head, a faint smile on his face.
PROVE IT!
The spell broke, and so did Krayas hand. The chromatic gauntlet lived a separate life, and locked it's fingers tightly around Krayas forearm. By the time the female warrior noticed the grip, the grasp broke the two bones into pieces, sending Kraya to a histerical scream. As she fell to the ground nursing her broken arm, templar emerged. The sun shined from behind, what made him look completely chromatic black.
Templar- I was wrong! You made me believe that you could defeat me here on your own, that you woul be my fate! For that, I can never repay you! You opened my eyes to myself, that I would never succumb to my fate. Only a fool accepts defeat woven by destiny!
Punishment began. Templar slamed both of his palms on Krayas shoulders cracking the shoulders bones, rendering Kraya completely incapable. He slammed his fists into her face one by one, and when Kraya looked up, revealing a bloody mess, but still maintaining that anger that made her beautyfull. Templar leaned back like if he was about to embrace something in the air.
Kraya- bastard! -she hissed on her knees.
Templar- wrath of the bowels of the mountains! Attend me!
All hell broke loose. Kraya was set aflame by the instant metal flood. She cried out in pain, but she could not scream becouse of the smoke that surrounded them. Her face changed back to Amara when she lost conciousness.
the silence was unbroken. Even the mountian winds stopped. The collumn of smoke went straightforwardly up in the sky. emplar withdrawed the firestorm he unleashed quickly enough. He did not had the stomach to kill the woman. The beast was supressed inside.
Shadow priest- most excellent victory. Lord Templar wins.
The crowd and alongside Saika was shocked when the portal opened. Noone could predict who would emerge victorious. Kraya had a striking record of fights won, but Templar was yet undefeated and showed force.
Saikas eyes opened wildy up, when he noticed the dark, towering figure walking out of the swirling shroud of the portal. The chainmail was torn in smoe places, his face badly damaged, but his eyes looked strickt and angered. Saika backed a little bit when Templar moved out of the crowd. A corridor opened up silently when he moved betwenn the warriors. Every-ones gaze was fixed on the unconcious red haired woman who was dragged on the floor in Templars hand. The other arm was just hanging on his side lifelessly.
Templar stopped and placed Amara in a Shadow Priests hands and ca-re. The ironclad whispered something to the faceles Shadow monk:
-if she is not restored fully by the next sunrise, you die.
the monk nodded without emotion and floated away with Amaras and Krayas physical shell.
The whispers grew louder, but everyone fell silent when Templar turned around. Genkaku, Saika, and even the unnamed visitor turned their eyes towarsd him in disbelief. His eyes were glowing in a magmatic red glow, smiling frighteningly, and speaking on a more chilling multi-tiered voice:
-Anyone who stands in my way, shall fall. -and so he clenched his fist and set it ablaye with molten fire. After the show of might, he walked away laughing silently. The templar everyone knew was showing his true, frighteningly powerfull portion of himself.
Saika-what happened to him? -her voice was a little bit unconvincing.
Genkaku Souyousha- that man, was not the warrior I faced. It seems that one of my powerfullest adversaries is showing his true face.

About Me

As templar leaves the arena, Saika's name is announced as she's set for battle. She approaches the Dragon logo and looks up at the Shadow Priest. A quick glimmer of shadow fire burns in her eyes as she looks away.
Shadow Priest: And her opponent......Shadow!!
A man with a giant axe comes through the crowd, his feet are completely covered in a black mist, but the armor on his leggings can be heard clear as a bell as he steps forward. He takes the giant axe on his back and slams it into the floor in front of him. His skin is a milky white which has a sharp contrast with his black outfit. He looks up at Saika from under his brow and exhales, letting out a cold mist.
Shadow- A woman? This fight will be more of a warm up. I will not accept defeat again.
Shadow Priest: Very well then, since both of you are shadow weilders, let us see how you do in the Sarna Ruins.
The Shadow Priest starts chanting and the iris on the Dragon logo opens, creating the next portal. Saika, still new to all of this hesitates for a second and then steps inside, shortly followed by Shadow. Transported across a vast distance, Saika finds her self on the roof of a half buried temple. She looks around and see's nothing but a ruined city in a sea of sand in front of her. The sun is more then 3/4 across the sky, and the long shadows from several of the pillars around the ruins are cast on the battlefield.
Shadow appears behind her and quietly switchs into his Dirt Dragon style and delivers a strong double palm strike to Saika's back, shooting her off the roof and down to the sand stone platform below. Using, her Shadow Dancer technique she quickly hits several points on the ruind walls of the temple and lands on the ground unharmed.
Saika- Coward. Is that how you win your battles? Through deception? Where I come from, we would hang you for your dishonor. Now come down here and fight me!
Shadow lets out a laugh and then jumps from the roof of the temple, down to the ground and faces Saika.
Shadow- This is Mortal Kombat young one. There is much for you to learn. The tournament may have guidelines for participation, but once the fight begins, anything goes.
Saika narrows her eyes at her opponent and then instantly vanishes from sight, leaving only a gust of wind in her place. Shadow is taken back by her speed. He has never faced anybody so nimble before. As he gets ready for an attack, he puts his hand on the handle of his giant axe, ready to swing at a moment's notice. He suddenly feels restraint on his arm and realizes that Saika is right behind him.
Saika grabs Shadow's arm and flips him over her back, making him land face first on the floor. She then gives his wrist a slight twist and kicks him in the chest. As soon as she lets go, Shadow shoots to his feet with the axe full extended and directed at Saika's neck level.
Saika quickly does a back hand spring and as her hands touch the ground, she lets loose a Shadow Mine which blows Shadow into the air and into a nearby column. Sahdow is knocked out of his sense for a brief moment. Saika takes this time to charge her opponent, leaving a trail of after images behind her as she closes in the distance.
Shadow regains consciencesness to see Saika come at him with one fist ingulfed in a shadow flame as he tries to move, his legs go numb and Saika easily closes the distance between them. She delivers a strong palm strike to Shadow's chest which explodes with energy and paralyzes Shadow. Saika then moves into string of attacks which range from palm strikes to Shadow's face and chest, to strong kick that are aimed at his mid-section and shins, all the while, beating him deeper into the column.
When Saika thinks that Shadow's had enough, she steps back and is about to deliver a finishing blow that will cave Shadow's chest in on itselt. Just as Saika is about to deliver the blow, she gives Shadow the brief instant he needed to lunge forward and grab Saika by her wrist. He flips over his opponent, landing on the oppisite side and delivers a kick into Saika's instep, causing her knee to buckle and make her tumble backwards. As she falls, Shadow, still holding onto Saika's arm, brings his knee underneath her and smashes her shoulder against it, popping it out of place.
Saika lets out a scream in pain.
Saika- AAAIIIIEEEEE!!!!!!
Shadow grabs her by her dislocated shoulder and lifts her into the air. He smiles and then shoots her back to the ground, stomping on her wounded shoulder as soon as she lands.
Shadow- Now, to finish this fight and move on to the next phase of the tournament.
Shadow reaches back and grabs his giant axe from its hold. He lifts it high into the air then swings down with etreme force. Saika quickly lifts her foot into the air and breaks Shadows attack inches from her face. She takes out her left kudachi and stabs Shadow in his knee, then with a quick twist, pops his knee out of place, causing him to fall to the ground. Shadow releases pressure on Saika's shoulder and she's able to escape. The strange tattoo on her shoulder begins to glow and the bones in Saika's shoulder heal enough for her to pop it back into place. She dusts her self off, and sinks into her Fan Qua.
Unfamiliar with this fighting style, Shadow has no way to defend against it and leaves him self open to a series of attacks from Saika. She comes in with a strong palm strike to his chest, then a crane strike to his chin and then a spinning crescent kick to his throat. Then does a double handsrpring kick into Shadow's jaw, causing him to flip over backwards, and cough out blood.
Saika's attacks are becoming more and more vicious as the match goes on, and the strange symbol on her back glow brighter.
Shadow put his axe against the ground and uses it as a crutch to get to his feet. He looks over at Saika who has a frighteningly blank look in her eyes. Choking on his own blood, Shadow manages to talk.
Shadow: I will not fall to a half breed mortal like you!!!
He takes his axe and with one step forward, launches it at Saika.
Saika stands there, with her arms crossed and eyes closed. Only saying one word.
Saika: "Nin"
She opens her eyes which are now glowing with a black light and the axe shoots right through her.
Shadow- How is this possible?
Saika slowly melts into her own shadow and dissapears from sight. Her voice however, can still be heard.
Saika- It is one thing to control the shadows, it's quite a different matter one you can bond with one.
Shadow looks around the arena, the sun is setting and the moon is begging to cast its own rays. He notices something strange. His own shadow is much darker then anything else that casts one. Suddenly, two glowing eyes appear in the shadow revealing Saika's location. The two shadows seperate a bit, revealing that Shadow's image is being held at knife point.
Saika- If you value your life, then stand still
Shadow feels a cooling sensation, as he looks down, he notices that his throat has a gash around it. He looks back at the two shadows, just as Saika's plunges both of her kudachi through his shadow's shoulders. Shadow's shoulders explode with pain and blood as deep cut marks appear on his flesh. Shadow falls to his knees and grabs each shoulder.
Shadow- Damn you!!!
Suddenly, Saika leaps out of her own shadow, delivering a knee to Shadow's face, and launching him into the air. She uses her tetsuguen to wrap around Shadow's throat and bring him back down to the ground, and under her foot. By this time, Shadow is clawing at his neck, trying to get the steel wire off, and choaking on his own blood. Saika stares down at him with eyes wide open and an evil grin. She pulls tighter and the wire cuts deeper into Shadow's flesh. The moment lasts like an eternity as the sun sets. Saika's tattoo begins to fade and the evil grin on her face, and horrifying look in her eyes dissapears.
Saika- Oh my god.....
She quickly releases her grip on the wire and eases the tension on Shadow's neck. Shadow lays there, under her heel, gasping for air. The portal back to the Shadow Monostary.
Shadow Priest: I present your winner......
Saika walks through the portal to quite a stunned audience. Nobody excpected to see such a vicious streak from her. With out saying a word, Saika moves through the crowd.

About Me

0
As Saika stumbles through the crowd, her head pounding, Templar strolls through the Shadow Monestary grounds. The moon is high above the trees of the Living Forest. The cool wind russels through the trees. Templar walks on the giant cobble stone platform outside the main entrance.
Templar- Hmm, Amara.........
He looks at the shattered pieces on his chain mail.
Templar- I'll need some ore to have these injuries repaired. It's been quite some time since anybody has managed to take me to such a limit.......
A voice is heard from beyond the trees of the living forest.
?????- You shouldn't let your mind wander. It can be quite deadly.
Templar- Show yourself, or I will drag you into the light my self...
?????- Hahaha. The great Templar, associate to Kahn and dear friend of that sorcerer Shang Tsung. Both, powerful beings in their prime, that have all but crumbled to dust under their enemies.
Templar's eyes glow with an off orange, resembling the magma that he wields.
Templar- Do not test me, because I assure you that I will snap you in half.
The intruder walks into the moon light. It is the same warrior that killed the shokan not too long ago.
?????- You think that you can kill me? Your more then welcome to try. But, if you attack then I'd have no choice but to retaliate.
Templar- So be it. I won't need much of my mail to put you in your place.
Templar takes off his gauntlets, and the pauladrons. As the come off, the crash to the ground, leaving impacts where they land. He cracks his neck and sinks into Goshindo. The stranger sinks into a type of Ninjitsu stance. Templar was well knowledged in this fighting style, but the stance the stranger took was nothing like Templar encountered before.
Templar- Before we commence, I'd like to ask that you show me your face. I'd like to know the identity of the man before I kill him.....
Stranger- Hmph, very well. I'll show you my face, but I won't reveal who I am.
Templar- So be it, it won't matter in a few seconds.
The stranger puts his hand infront of his face and ignites a flame. The icy green flame ignites the inside of the stranger's hood. The stranger is a man with long black hair, and an X shaped scar across his face.
Templar- Very well. Let's begin....
As soon as those words are spoken, the Stranger comes in with blazing speed and jumps into the air. He rotates his body and becomes nothing more then a silohuete in front of the moon. The stranger flips several times in mid air and then comes down with his legs straight, and arms folded, spinning like a cyclone.
Templar crosses his hands infront of him to block the attack. He puts one leg behind him to brace the impact. As the stranger comes down he makes impact with Templar, however, what's unusual is that it lasts for less then a second, yet Templar can feel the impact as if it lasted an eternity. However, such an attack would still require the opponent to at least bounce off in the other direction.
A voice of the warrior from behind Templar mocks him...
Warrior- Are you confused, distracted? Or are you just looking for me?
Templar charges up his palm and turns around with it extended, thinking that he can grab his opponent. And it appears as if his plan has succeded, but then realizes that his opponent his slipped though his fingers, and realizes that he's right below him.
Warrior- Too slow.
The warrior plunges his hands forward and to Templar's surprise they pass through the mail on his body, and hit him square in the stomach with quite some force. He can feel the warriors fists open, and an intense mix of hot and cold form right infornt of his stomach. Before Templar can say anything, the feeling increases and is blasted backwards. To slow him self down Templar unsheths his Bastard sword and plunges it into the ground. He gradualy comes to a stop, breathing heavily.
Templar- Explain yourself. What technique was that? How were you able to pass through my armor and hit me from the inside.?
Warrior- It's a technique that I have perfected through eons of training. Somewhat similar to your dematerialization, I have control of both, my physical, as well as spectral forms. That's all I'm going to tell you. Do not be discouraged, not even the god, Anubis was able to touch me.
Templar- You killed Anubis? Absured....
Warrior- You're not listening. I never said I killed him, but I was responsible for his down fall, as well as that of Kahn, Shinnok, Onaga and Tsung.
Templar- Liying scoundrel. The Earth realm warrior Lui Kang was ressponsible for those victories. You are not him.
Warrior- I never said I was.
Templar- Enough. Now prepare to have your head handed to you.
Templar pulls his bastard sword out of the ground and wings it around his body.
Templar- Those arm baldes you used to kill that shokan will not help you.
Warrior- You're right, but I never planned on using my arm blades on you...
The warrior walks a bout a little bit and then stops infront of Templar who tightens his grip on his blade.
Warrior- Behold........the power of Alchemy......
The warrior touches the ground beneath him and what looks like a pentagram glows under his palm. Suddenly, he raises his hand into the air, and before Templar's eyes the warrior pulls out a blade straight from the ground. The blade is split down the middle, and a hallowed cry can be heard from the blade.
Stunned, but not phased, Templar comes in first, with his blade swinging above his head. The stranger calmly raises his blade and deflects Templar's blow. Templars then retracts his blade and tries to swing from the side, again the stranger calmly let's his blade drop and grabs it at the last moment to give it some body, and blocks Templars assault.
Feeling insuilted, Templar manages to lift his sword once more, but doesn't strike. Both warrior look at each other for a brief second, and then both step in with the blades. The blades let out a loud cry as they are both thrown to the side. Templar's armor has been piercedm and the hood on the stranger's cloak has been cut. The warrior has one of Templar's hands held above his head, and has his own hand on top of Templar's breast plate.
As the warrior begins to pull his hand away, the same pentagram glows on Templar's chest. He feels extremely dizzy all of a sudden and coughs up some blood. His eyes open wide when he sees that a sword handle is coming out of his chest.
A multi-tiered voice calls out.
-Enough!-
It's the lead Shadow Priest, the so called Shadow Prophet.
The warrior looks around and sees that their little skirmish has drawn quite a crowd. The warrior stops his technique and pushes the sword handle back into Templar's chest. The iron clad warrior lets out an agonysing scream.
Warrior- Consider this a bit of advice. You have the skills and determination to win, but if you get side tracked, somebody like me will make sure that your loss is greate.
The warrior looks around and sees Saika.
Warrior- Saika, try to stay alive, atleast until HE returns to you.
With that, the warrior goes through the crowd, on the way back into the Monastary. One of the warriors, jealous of the stranger's skill tries to attack him, but is grabbed by his head and lifted up by the cloaked warrior. The warrior's hand glows red, and the assaultee is turned inside out from the neck down, and then blown to pieces. With out a second thought, the warrior vanishes from sight.
Templar falls to one knee and tries to breath......
Saika walks up to him.
Saika- Are, you ok?
Templar- I will be.....
Templar falls to one knee and tries to breath......
Saika walks up to him.
Saika- Are, you ok?
Templar- I will be.....
Amusing. I would never have thought that a ferocious fight would draw up that much of my darker ego. Best to be careful, I don't take threats lightly.
Saika- how bad is it?
Templar- It's gone. Pain absorbed. Hmm, similar fighting skills of my own.
That one has payed it's toll to earn my respect. He straightened up a few
things.
Saika looked confused on him. At the same time he noticed the circular
serpent tattooed on Templars back. As she looked at it, her forehead were struck by the faint imprint of every pain he encountered and absorbed. Templar walked after the cloaked warrior. Both of them stopped when they
were in range.
???- Are you here to say something for me?
Templar- as a matter of fact, I am. -he smiled- I came to express my ut-
most graditude for awaking me from battle-haze. -and while saying so, he
bowed with his head. There were only four persons alive who have ever
received this from the Seidan who became Templar: The zealot war hero
Hotaru, the shapeshifter demon sorcerer Shang Tsung, the all-powerfull
emperor of outworld, Shao khn and finally the earthrealm temples guar-
dian who was one of the Pekara, the Warrior Kings.
???- you're velcome. As I see, my warning has found open ears...for once.
Templar- relieved I am from the burden of battles fought ages ago. Con-
sider me along those who do not wish to harm you. Yet.
???- But whenever battle comes raging past eons, there I stand alone hallowed....
Templar-For when blades and maces meet, the mirror of steel shows
true intentions... you quote well Outworlds poets. Farewell then to thee.
Both of them walked away. The crowd loosing interest in the hidden
significance of the moment quickly turned it's attention to the bloody sport
of Mortal kombat. Soon three heads were carried out to decorate the walls
spikes. Templar and Saika continued their descent towards the inner
monastery. otherwise not allowed for the likes of them, Templars royal
significance allowed him to surpass every defense erected in the sake of
keeping the monasteries secrets safe.
Saika- what was that all about?
Templar- i should have told you before. Sometimes I pass away to beco-
me more ruthless than I am in truth. At least I hope so.
Unknown figure- or at least that is what he tries to believe...
Both of them froze within their tracks. Saika, ever suspicious on Templar and his surroundings placed her palm on her weapon instantly, but noti-ced that templar remained calm and smiled with a grin. If Templar knew about the shadowy figure standing in the dark shadows, then they were not in danger, for now.
Templar- Ah, the hunter returns to prey upon me.
Uknown figure- your sarcasm only surpasses your naivete. -the white
opaque eyes glowed in the dark without light.
Templar- then I consider the odds, and say you're not here to kill me.
Otherwise you would never come unattended by a battalion.
Unknown figure- ha, how true. But putting aside our hostilities for the time
only makes matters worse Koshaku. You know that well.
Templar- if I ever live to remember that lesson almost too well...
Saika extended her senses into the dark and soon came to the conclu-sion that the figure was wearing a tight, well plated armor in black, on the surface, a chromatic green light danced, similar of an insects carapace.
Unknown figure- well, I have to thank you my life. If it wasn't for Dairou's
swift intervention, I would be dead now. How unique from such as you to
choose him as my savior.
Templar- yes, well, after revealing a few facts about his trial made him a
new man. Not that he changed, but he was too enthusiastic to offer his job
of an "assassination" for me instead of your death comissioner.
The figure walked out of the dark, revealing a glowing chromatic armor, and a pair of battle flags behind his wast amount of defense. The man was Seidan, considered a war hero, one of the fews, who were capable of ddefeating anyone without backthoughts. His white hair however was dirty and travel weary.
Templar- glad to see you alive, my murderer.
Hotaru- with a tight smile on his face: The decision has been made by
me. Koshaku, Seido has called of you again. Complete your part of the
revolution here. -and while saying so, he walked away, into the gardens of
the monastery.
Saika- who was he?
Templar- the man who has taught me humility and arrogance in the same
time. He is Hotaru. Fear and awe him, for he is someone who you don't
wan't to have on the parchments listing your enemies.
Saika- I heard the senctence Seidan. Does that refer to your homeland?
Templar- yes. the one what exiled me, and the one i am trying to save
from herself. But that is a story way too long to be told.
Saika- then I am right about him being the Seidans pride.
Templar- yes. My most beloved comrade, and my most lethal foe.
Saika- I see.
Well, this day has proved to be a good lesson in humility and arrogance,
at least for me. there is still much for me to learn it seems. But thanks to
our caped savior, wthere is still a chance to fight our way, untill the end.
Saika- you speak boldly. Let us rest untill the next challenge is about to be
decided. Lets see if I am capable of defeating my own army of demons?
Templar- yes indeed. Each of us ust face the challenges of Mortal Kombat
may it be on the battlefields, or in out hearts. Now, we earned our rest. Let
us hope this would not be our final sleep.
Saika- how bad is it?

Mychau slowly circled Rachnor, the cloaked warrior not moving save to spin his spiked ball, smirking at Mychau.
-What are you up to?- she thought, slowly pulling out her short fighting staff.
Before it was completely out, Rachnor flung out the chain of the Sarodo, the spiked ball arcing towards her head at high velocity. With skill borne from years of training, she dodged it and charged forward. But before she could, she heard a rushing sound as the Sarodo came up behind her, striking her in the head and sending her down flat into the snow.
Rachnor chuckled softly, the Sarodo spiked ball and chain curling around him like a snake as he waited for Mychau's next move.
Frowning, Mychau considered this new development coldly, her mind as cold as the snow she commanded. She tried lunging towards him with a punch, but the Sarodo quickly looped around her chest and threw her hard, causing her to slam up against one of the smaller trees.
Mychau scowled, trying to figure out a way to beat Rachnor and what she thought was his telekinetic prowess.
"Interesting weapon," she said, her gaze like permafrost as she stared at the Sarodo.
Rachnor chuckled. "This weapon is an extention of myself, my power. It is the Sarodo. And you, like so many others, will fall before it. The difference is, little snowflake, is that I am not trying to kill you."
"The difference is lost on you. I have no intention of failing my master," Mychau said, vanishing in a burst of snow.
Rachnor blinked, but before he could bring the Sarodo to bear, Mychau appeared beside him and struck him in the throat with her staff. She dropped to the ground and swept his legs out from under him, intending on striking him in the forehead with one of the tips of her staff. But even before he landed, he summoned shards of metal from beneath the ground, which slashed Mychau's leg upon emergence, slashing her across the arms and shoulders once they came down.
-Why just metal?- Mychau thought, even as she rolled away from Rachnor. Her wounds weren't bleeding that badly, due to her body's natural cold, but she was getting confused. So far, all he had manipulated with what she percieved as telekinesis was shards of metal and the Sarodo.
Unless...
Unless his power wasn't telekinetic, but magnetic?
She didn't have time to reflect on the lessons the spirit had taught her about the sciences in case she ever needed to leave the Glade, as the Sarodo slammed down next to where she was, sending up a splash of snow. She quickly teleported again, but this time Rachnor was ready for her.
When Mychau reappeared, the Sarodo was spiralling around Rachnor's body. The head of the Sarodo struck Mychau just underneath the breastbone, staggering her. Rachnor smiled, whipping the Sarodo around and striking her hard in the chest, sending her flying back into one of the smaller trees. She slammed into it and staggered, bracing herself up against the tree as tiny icicles rained down on her, some sharp enough to knick her scalp, causing a trail of blood to run down her face.
She tried to conjure up a blizzard to blind Rachnor, but she couldn't concentrate.
It didn't help matters when the Sarodo struck her right between the eyes at high velocity.
Mychau groaned softly and slumped to the ground, unconcious.

Rachnor chuckled, and recalled the Sarodo. "An interesting distraction. With some polish, she'll make a fine guardian for this place."
"INDEED," said the spirit that ruled this Glade, its voice like a thundering blizzard wind, "SHE DID BETTER THAN I EXPECTED."
Rachnor smirked. "You didn't think she'd even get a hit in, did you?"
"TRUTHFULLY NO," the spirit said, "MY OPINION OF HUMANS, EVEN ONES ENHANCED LIKE I'VE ENHANCED MYCHAU, IS SOMEWHAT LOW. THIS WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE TODAY."
Rachnor nodded. "I must move on. I have delayed my vengeance against Onaga long enough, and must seek he and his minions out. When Mychau awakens, extend her my compliments for a decent sparring match."
"YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN," the spirit said suddenly, sounding tense.
Rachnor frowned. "What? Why?"
The spirit hesitated, and then said, "SHE HAS BEEN INVITED TO MORTAL KOMBAT, AS YOU HAVE. I BROUGHT YOU HERE BECAUSE I WANTED TO GIVE HER AN ADVANTAGE AGAINST HER FIRST OPPONENT."
Rachnor cursed. "Well, this certainly complicates things. Still, I must be on my way. Warn her of what's to come, as I cannot and will not protect her if she gets into Outworld" the cloaked warrior said, quickly striding out of the field.
The spirit waited until it felt Rachnor's aura leave his lair, and then cast its healing magic over Mychau. Her wounds and internal injuries healing quickly, her eyes flickering open. To her credit, although her face showed pain from the stiffness that remained, she made not a sound as she stood up, facing one of the largest trees in the Glade.
"I couldn't defeat him, my master," she said simply, only a trace of disappointment in her otherwise totally emotionless voice.
"DO NOT DESPAIR. YOU MAY YET GET ANOTHER CHANCE AGAINST HIM. BUT FOR NOW YOU MUST PREPARE YOURSELF. DO NOT LET YOUR PRIDE OVERCOME YOU, AND LISTEN WELL WHAT I HAVE TO SAY..."
Mychau nodded and sat down in the snow, as the spirit explained Mortal Kombat, the dangers she would face in Outworld, the possible interferance of the Chaosrealm, the Vampires, and other such demons. She listened intently, taking in everything, her soul and mind as cold as the winter around her...
