It kinda looks like Shao Kahn... but its good, the body is to big tho and you should make the body fit the legs

Yea, I know a lot of the technical aspects are off, and I could have tried to be a little more creative with the costume...I guess I'm just not as artistically creative (or skilled) as some of the people here.

Good start, now all you need to do is keep doing variations of this till it becomes perfect.

You could check out websites with pictures of armor, or clothing from around the world, and use that for inspiration.

Pretty good. The anatomy of his arm muscles were done well (heh, I couldn't draw muscles if my life depended on it) His legs seem a bit short compared to his body. But a great effort altogether! Keep it up! (his nose and teeth and spikes kinda makes him look a bit like oderus urungus from GWAR! I love it! )

It's a good start. The clothes and face need more work. The legs are too short.
But keep practicing, you have talent.

To be honest, I think it kind of looks like another form of Reptiles mixed with Shao Kahn. Even so, I think the bones look great as part of the outfit and his claws look cool.

I like it. It kind of reminds me of one of the mario bosses.

In a way that's kind of what I was aiming for; since it's likely Reptile will become the Dragon King in MK6, I wanted to make sure the reptillian characteristics were obvious. And with Shao Kahn, I just felt he was a good model for a warlord emperor type of boss. And as BAV said, I guess I did kind of throw in a little of Koopa from the Mario games, maybe that's why I decided to make the legs on the short side.

I'm not really a big artist, I can draw dencently, but not like some people on this board with real talent. Between the eras of MK3 and 4, I used to do a lot of concept drawings for Reptile's true form. If I can dig any up I'll think about posting some.

I was thinking about redoing this to fix a few errors and maybe give him a more original costume, but I had a hard time making it look right. The main reason I posted this was to try to inspire people to come up with their own concept drawings for the Dragon King, since we don't know for sure what he looks like.

Your statement makes no sense as Reptile was in fact Onaga if you played Deception and beat it with Sindel, her ending tells you everything about what happened with Reptile and in his Deadly Alliance ending, you'll see that Reptile got sucked into the Great Egg and started to turn into a creature we later found out as Onaga as this artist (Who probably doesn't come here anymore) tried to make with good effort.

And it's "Which" not "Witch." Because a Witch is a wicked old hag... while the correct "Which" defines as "what one?"
