Yes, it is the moment you have all been waiting for Fake Picture Kontest V!
THE RULES:
1. All images are to be created by one individual artist.
2. All Kontestants must email me or private message me with their intent to enter.
3. All submissions must follow the guidelines as accurately as possible. Permission must be requested for exceptions.
4. Voting will be done by fellow members of the MK5.org Forums.
5. All artists’ identities will be kept anonymous until the Kontest is over.
6. The Kontest will be over at midnight on March 14, 2003 (Central Time), or when 100 votes are received – whichever comes first.
7. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
8. All entries must be e-mailed to me with the subject line reading “FPKIV Entry” by Midnight (Central) March 11, 2003. Be sure to include your MK5.org username and any special instructions for the handling of your picture. I will be hosting pictures on my own webserver, and will condense the file size to better accommodate for all users. I will retain the image format and the quality of the picture as much as humanly possible. *.JPG, *.PNG, *.GIF are the preferred image formats, and a file size under 100k is recommended.
THE GUIDELINES:
1. You are to take your favorite Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance character and create a 2D version of him/her/it. You may use pre-existing sprites from MK1/2/3/UMK3.
2. Take this character you have created, and place him/her/it on any existing MK1/2/3/UMK3 background.
3. Your MK:DA character is to be performing a fatality of your own design on any pre-exisiting MK1/2/3/UMK3 character.
4. Quality and Originality Count! The “mission” of this Kontest is to see how well you can transpose a MK:DA character into the world of the 2D Mortal Kombats.
5. Good Luck, Kontestants! You have ONE WEEK!
Note: I realize the parameters for this Kontest are the same as FPKIV. However, we were in the midst of transition at that time and things became too busy. Things should run smoothly this time!
