I really like this one. The background is great a sis the overall koncept. I'd imagined this Fatality being done before. It'd have been nice if the head was split down the middle. Excellent job man. 4/5

Impress the MK crew? Give me a break. This pre-existing pics is painted and edited. And I don't have to stop mixing them. I love the mix. The big sprites are not pointless- they are part of the picture. Focus on effects? Never even mind... I will give you the blood is not great but other than that I like the pic. I have always been very receptive to constructive criticism and feedback but this is neither of those. Please don't focus on every pic I have made, focus on this pic only.

Wow this fake is bad. I like the idea for ermac however, but not being as ermac. It's like you took one of the guards in Shinnok's Fortress or some shit.

Your right, I should use some played out MK2-MK3 backgrounds like so many other fake creaters. Listen if you guys say you don't like pre-existing backgrounds I am sorry but I totaly disagree. I am sick of too many retarted background edits! I am sorry if you don't like them: don't look at my fakes cause they ain't gonna change. Please tell me that my ideas are un-origanal, that my edits are not clean, that the ppl are too big, that you don't like the life bars for whatever reason. Those are things that I am willing to fix. But I won't change the backgrounds.

Ok, so you’re bound and determined to use photos for your backgrounds: that’s fine. So do I. That’s how I’ve made a couple of my backgrounds. But the trick is make them blend in. The sky is fuchsia, so therefore, the mountain range should have had a fuchsia tone to it as should the bridge. Also, the enlarged sprites look blurry compared to the background, so it may not have hurt to have used a blur filter.

On a side note: I’m going to go out on a limb and say you’re not used to real critiques. Well, take it from me, I’m a second semester art student who has been through nearly every foundation art course and some advanced courses as well. People are going to dislike your work sometimes. Take everything to heart but not personally.

I agree. Listenn I can tske it well from anyone but when the tone is set by something like a sigh, you know whats coming next.

I think that you have to do what you like to do dispite the critics but you can't ignore all of them, you can take some pointers.

I would like to see some more visible clouds. I can barely see them.

The tattoo on Ermac’s back needs some shading to make it look like it's curving on his back.

If you want to make the life bars longer, just cut a piece of it, and copy it to the middle and that way you can extend them as much as needed.

I would make the bars thicker, keep the dragon the same size, but bring it down, so it's not cut off at the top.

Give some more tones to the glow around his arm, and sonya’s head.

The center needs to be brighter.

The glow is completely covering Ermac’s arm, but on Sonya its just an outline.

I like the way it looks on Ermac better.

The mountains are very bright, but the forest is very dark. Like night and day at the same time.

It looks out of place.

I don't see any straps holding Ermac’s swords.

Look at his right lower ribs, IMO there should be a strap there.

I would add some birds to the back ground, to make it look more alive, add some extra motion to it.

Add some hilights to Ermac's body, because Sonya has a much brighter light on her than he does.

Good job, it just needs some tweaks here and there.

It's always been that way =/. You try to make something convincing. And something that should of been in the game.

K. You have a good art program but you keep rushing yourself. You need to have patients. You see criticism like if it was a flame;and it's not trust me. Criticism if for you to improve on and not make the same mistakes repeatedly.

I'm only giving you pointers for the fake/s and so you won't make the same mistakes next time. I seriously don't call myself a "Good" fake pic maker but I pretty much keep trying to develop a reputation one day as a good one.

Hey, I don't take it personal but I will get defensive if ppl approach it like you do. If you have time read the posts of every other fake I have made. I have never got in an argument over them. I have been gracious and appreciated comments.
