These animations are getting longer and longer to make, lol, means something I guess.

Anyhow, here it is, Flash 5 of course.

Now, firstly this was requested by ]ombat, and here's a few things:

1. You might think that the animation would be easy to make because it's just Mileena doing Kitana's fatality with a Sai, so you're thinking simple pallete swap? Wrong, Kitana's fan was covering like half her body in most of the frames, which doesn't make it easy when trying to replace it with a sai grin.
2. As for the background animation, if it looks really naf, lol, then turn down your brightness on your monitor to make it look less naf, lol.
3. Speakers on! grin

Anyhow, hope you like it, especially you ]ombat.
Oh and btw. my complete animation index (except for the "intros") has been uploaded to my site finally smile

that's good ol tim for you. I just think your fakes and animations and tight as hell.

I liked the one you did when you hosted the last fake animation contest. no one came close to your.

I would like to see a fake animation with Goro and Kintaro. like see the whole fight and then one kills the other.

even thought this is a basic fake animation I still love it. the bloody, animation, everything.

It's simple but well done that it is... Very nice on the head bouncyness.

I also think that the movement that meleena did before the fatality make it seem more like it was the actual game...and not a fake animation.

Good job.

The fatality itself is overdone and simple but, the smoothess and quality are over the top.
The Shadows, the drops of bloods, the sense of gravity are very well put!

Excellent Job Tim, like usual!

Heh, wouldn't we all grin. Lol, if getting the frames for Goro and Kintaro were as easy as the other characters (because of course, they're not playable), then I would definately.

Basically I tried to include all things that aren't as important in an animation, e.g. the shadows and the background animation.

wow thats awesome. I only see one thing with it, it looks like Kung Lao was already dead before she slams him by looking at his life bar. Besides that it is awesome, it runs so smooth, it looks like a video taken right from the game. U must be a very pachant because u have to get all those sprites. The idea is very basic but u didnt come up with it so i give u a 5/5

Actually it's not, you have to look quickly though, because it changes as SOON as he hits the ground grin

That was a great animation. It was 99% flawless. I don't like the fatality idea at all though, there's nothing too great about it.

This must be one of the greatest stuff yet. Tim, your flash animation looked so real, I almost though it was actual game play. Keep up this, "fantastic" work of yours grin.

Oooh! I see now, lol. I did it the MKDA way, which seems to be fashionable in fighting games now (lifebars going toward the centre), lol.

Grat Animation Tim now that was worth seeing over and over slow motion and fast motion

I like the idea too, I see no flaws I like your blood and shadows and sound effects I bet you if Flash-Crash was here he would be jeolous grin

good job tim. I wish I still had the patence to do good animation. The only thing is that sais are not usually razor sharp to lob off a head, as they are poking and stabing weapons. Good job again.

Great job! Thanks for fulfilling my request, it was definitely awesome. I love how you had her block and duck, it looks like the player is really doing something to try and make her do that Fatality. 100%!

hey i was wondoring how long did it take 4 u to make this because i ussaly only spend a day or 2 tops on mine. If i tryed to make summtin like that i think it would take a while.

Hmm, let's see. I really don't spend any more time than you really.
I didn't do things in an order, I like use what I have, then if I need more sprites, rip them there and then.
All in all, it took about: 7 hours?
Flies right passed when you're actually doing it, lol.
I did the 7 hours over 2 days.

Very nice. Like everyone else said, it looks like its actually straight out of the game itself, with the prefatality move and the blocking. Its well done like always, basic but flawless. I am still waiting for you to mess one up so I can critique it!
