Damn I havn't done fakes in hella years man. I need to get my own damn computer but I have to pay off college tuition and all that bullshit first. =/

That's good that you are putting your ideas on paper. I wish I had some creative ideas... more or less I am doing to the same old things with new methods and [what I would call] "expressions."

Not sure what happened to blacksaibot, but I do know that VenoMark was banned almost two years ago for flaming too much, so he won't be coming back. I think he wound up being banned 3 or 4 times actually...

They were both pretty over rated anyway.

Eh. Well, I always considered VenoMark my inspiration to be better and whatnot. He made some pretty epic stuff. BlackSaibot, uhm, relished in what VenoMark could not make epic, or so I hear.

I don't think VenoMark or blacksaibot are overrated at all. I remember when I join this site; me and Venomark had flamewars over my shitty teh gremar skilz and my fakes blinding his eyes. I took it up the rear but blacksaibot saw that I had potential to be someone great. Blacksaibot actually took the time to review and critique my fakes via email before I decided to post them online. If it weren’t for blacksaibot, I wouldn't have a clue what is good art from piss-poor art to boot.

Thanks for info Jerrod. and yeah Fedegita it really sucks. But I will return eventually. I promise you that 'cause lately I don't see no-one really contributing anything great. Especially animations. I don't consider myself the best, but I can't stand people doing half-assed crap and getting praise for it. That's why I'm glad when I see MK Veterans like MKRocket still having passion for art.

I guess no one else noticed this but now your sprites are looking cartoonish...lol. Welcome to my world...years later. I think the sprites are ok. Their clean and polished. It just seems a little bit too smooth. I guess you used alot of lighter colors than darker and that makes it seem shiny and smooth. I'm not giving you a long explanation of all the things that I think are wrong with it (cuz u know I don't have to give you a rating because both of us are above that) because I'm in class and am about to leave. It's nice to see a decent fake after all these years, heh. I guess I won't see another one until I come back...

Oh wow, this is great. I like what you did to the background so the sprites would stand out more. I like the lifebars but the font seems a bit too big in them.

Beautiful Ermac sprite. Just beautiful. One thing I can't help but notice on Shang Tsung is that his pants designs seem too pencil drawn and defined in a way they stand out (in a kind of bad way). But his facial expression and all the rest of his sprite look damn flawless.

Actually, looking at it a second time. I don't like the fake at all. I mean, you did a good job with the edits but I guess me knowing at you are capable of, this just dissappoints me. Yea, I don't like it. heh. Oh and your blood, kinda bright (another reason for cartoonish look).

I agree. I don't really like anything in this fake outside of my Ermac sprite... But yeah, I'm trying to break into what I'm capable of, trying to get back to realism, but I don't know if my perfectionist for details will let me.
