I don't. While I find the background and effects visually appealing, I have many cmoplaints.
The demon's legs and feet seemt oo disproportioned to the body, and he's shooting lasers into the grond instead of at Nightwolf. I see a hatchet a stake, and an I don't know what, all too big, and taking up too much space, for no reason. You can't even tell it's Nightwolf except for the green glowy effects, where it could be a hippy Ermac too. I also felt the demon didn't look demonic enough. It looked more like Superboy using heat vision. So I guess the big picture is taht there's too much going on with no explination, 2/5

Yeah, I think the Hatchet, Stake, etc is supposed to be kind of a ghosting effect for the Hatchet like its swinging with the movement of Nightwolf's Arm.

I give a 3.5/5 for Originality, Time, Effort, Explanation of why, and choice of SubZero as a Fire-Eye shooting Demon. :)

I notice most of your fakes you attempt to come out with your own concept characters, and for that, I will give you credit.

The problem is how obvious the sprites are. Nightwolf and Sub-Ze...ehhh...I mean....The Demon guy both appear to have the same color suit. I'd just left Nightwolf alone unless you would've added his alt. costume. The demon guy in the air looks a bit awkward as though you just slapped it onto the BG. Perhaps a shadow underneath would've looked more convincing.

I really don't like what the demon guy is shooting from his eyes. It reminds me of Kano and Cyclops. The detail of the tomahawks and how the bean is craving the floor was a nice touch; great job on that.

The background is a bit dull. Colors don't seem to match. The sky is just too plain. Make it more "MKish" besides messing around with the colors.

Nice effort, nonetheless. It's nice to see some people still contributing art on this site.

It looks like the demon is making a big trail of lasers that will eventually hit Knightwolf. Look at the lasery stuff on the ground behind the laser.

You can't really tell it's Knightwolf besides the fact he has long hair, and the axes he is throwing look way too big.

and YES, u can tell he's sub zero! so!?? just cause u cant tell who the sprite used to be doesnt make it good! when u retouch a sprite too much it looks shitty, like he doesnt belong in the game.

And Nightwolf's axe is huge cause its an energy axe... why cant it b big???

Hehe, yeah. I guess maybe they are still trying too hard to ground this custom in a MK world and not the CUSTOM world as it should. I still think a short story comic of this would be funny. Maybe a 2 parter? part 1 enter the castle etc, meet demon. Part 2 Fight and win (or lose). :)

I agree only I think this could be taken further to make quite an interesting comic series.

As for the image itself:

- The background, although I don't really like it much, kind of fits the mood of the image.
- I don't really like the edits. I take your point that it doesn't matter how much it looks like Sub, but at the same time he doesn't look like much of a demon either. It's more the design - both characters look like they're out to a trendy wine bar rather than fighting in a mountanous arena!
- I love most of the effects though. The actual laser is ok, but the trail is great. But for me - the energy axe steals the show and I'm seriously thinking of ripping this move off for MK Karnage .

Is Nightwolf wearing a tie? What's that red thing near his attire? Both fighters look awfully formal to be beating eachother. Besides the great effort in making your own sprites (using default ones) and your own background, I think there's a bit of too much going on at once. 2.5/5

yes thats a tie. And i agree hahah it is kinda cluttered and chaotic... i just wanted to play around w the sprites most of all, then i slapped the rest toghether
