Wow, for a fake that was done mostly in Paint, this is exceptional. I like that you tried to give it a good MKDA feel. Also, non-fatality fakes aren't too common, and usually they aren't as good as fatalities, but this is quite well done indeed. I like the character pics you used, since they match the sprites themselves. The texts aren't the true MKDA font, correct? Either way, they still look very fitting for this fake. I like the use of the style bars, not too common to see anymore really. I do see the shadows, they are sort of hard to make out, but I like how they are cast that way, it shows they are identifying with the light source, which is the lava of course.

I like this background, alot. The lava effects are pretty nice, you attempted to give it that 'flowing' feel and did a good job for the most part. Though, I think for realism, which this fake has alot of, you should have had some of the lava in the pool 'bubbling' or perhaps added some light heat/blur effects to the foreground of the lava. I do see some of those effects I am talking about further back, and they look very good, but I think there should be similar effects closer to the fighting platform too. The 'throne' is very well done, I like the 'wing-like' stone structures that extend from it. It reminds me of a bat wiht it wingspan at full length, I like it alot. It seems well placed, out on a sort of penisula its raised a bit as well, which I think is a pretty nice touch. The demon heads that the lava is flowing from are evil appears, they have a very good menacing feel to them. I also like how you did their eyes, like hot coals, the emphasis on them was a good idea. Overall, this background is one of the nicest I've seen in some time, defiantly the best one I remember from you.

The sprite edits are great as well, look just like the MKDA characters. The shade of blue you used for Sub-Zero looks just as his picture in the screenshot in the lifebar section, the colors match well. The ice effects on his arms are great, not overdone, nore underdone. The transition is slow and steady. Perhaps the effect was sort of overused on the ice blast though, I do like the idea itself actually, the way it is falling seems pretty realistic. I think it 'bends' a bit too much around the center, but it is only slightly. The only thing may be that Sub-Zero's right leg looks a bit bulky, but it could be just my perception of it.

The Scorpion edit is great too. You nailed the costume perfectly. The position he is throwing the spear in is sort of weird though, it doesn't appear he is exerting enough force for the spear to travel the distance to Sub-Zero. The spear is sort of hard to see, the rope that is, I don't really like the color of it. I also think it should be somewhat 'tighter'. His double swords look alright overall, they appear sort of shorter than they do in MKDA, but the colors and the shape are look pretty good. Also, excellent shadowing on Scorpion, adds to the realism factor. This is a pretty nice fake, I'm sort of glad you didn't submit it because the jealous might lower the score. Hopefully, we'll have that taken care of soon. Great job.

OMG, Flash- Crash, i havent seen u in months. And i told u maxdamn that u will like my fake ^^. Oh yea, for the Scorpion sprite and spear(the rope part). He is actually in a motion (yes, i should have stated that but wtf i aint perfect), he's at the point in which the spear has already pierced Sub-Zero and he is about to pull him, thats why the rope is not tight. That's my explanation for that, any questions, just ask. OH yea, i was gonna add that "hot" glow into the ground at the last minute but it was looking weird. The ice blast I do agree is a little too bent in the front but hey im not perfect. Don't forget I will be making another fake pic for MKDA, I have already decided the background (which i know no one will guess...literally) but i dont know the sprites and what im doin. Kthxbai.

Alright, that explains it somewhat. The 'loose' rope looks a bit more correct now that I look at it with your description in mind. The legs still seem at an odd position, but then again I cannot say that it is impossible for him to pull Sub-Zero toward himself in this pose. I wouldn't worry about being 'perfect' or trying to make a 'perfect fake' because that in itself is impossible. Something that looks perfect to one person, may not to another, so perfect is in the eye of the beholder. Anyhow, I still think this is a very good fake, and I look forward to your next.

Anyway, it's a great fake ya got there, specially for a mostly MS Paint one.
The only things I dont like are the lava (though you pulled it off pretty good, well, sorta) and Scorpion's hood. Did he lost his forehead or something?
