Boy.... does that SUCK.

First of fall, the background is pathetic. You took the Temple's dragon, stretched it out, and put it over black, and you took the floor from the Soul Chamber (that doesn't even fit the length of the entire picture, if I may add). The picture idea itself is boring, over used, and horribly executed. You pasted three Scorpion sprites on the picture trying to make it look like he is moving fast as agents from the Matrix. The bullets look cheap too. You just pasted five above Scorpion, not even bothering trying to make the slow motion effect.

I don't see the point of those stupid fire balls in the background. Did you try to make this thing look cool or something? The font in the health bars are too small, the timer is 666... what are you, Satanic? The most retarded part of this picture, is where you put those gay sprites of the baby Cyrax above the health bar, or whatever the hell that is supposed to be. You don't even tell the wins or have the dragon icons.

I wouldn't even think it's safe to say you gave an effort, it sure as hell doesn't look like it.

This your first? Anyway, yes the 'Matrix' thing has been overdone, but it really wouldn't be important if it could be pulled off well. Here are some things to help you improve:

Ok, first thing, its too small. You need to make your background bigger because its kind of hard to make things out with it being this small. As for the background, its far too dark and plain. Objects in the distance would be helpful and make the fake have more depth. The lifebars are too far down in the fake, and I don't understand why Stryker doesn't have any life left, he's still standing so he must have some left. The timer should read a normal number you'd expect to see in a fight. The bananas... need to leave from the lifebars as well. You did add the win tokens though.

As for Scorpion, the 'Matrix' effect isn't very well done. Its not transparent at all, its too solid and it looks like there are just three Scorpions bending over. And I don't see how Scorpion got his spear to fire, its out of place.

The quality is pretty bad as well, you should have tried a different file type. The blackness of this fake makes it worse, as you can see the blurriness of everything thats over the pitch black background.

I do like the text 'matrixality' is in for some reason, but again, the quality on it isn't good due to the file type and solid background.

Do you know a good program fo making images transparent, because that would help alot with my problem. Thanx for the comments, and balkcsiaboot screw you, i'm not a satanic feak for making a frigin joke with the counter.

Photoshop is good I think. Or Paint Shop Pro 8, you can check out the 'Free Resources' thread in this forum for a free download of some PSP8, and other useful programs.

Transparency can be done in Paint (by an illusion). It won't be AS good as the other programs, but it will still work.

Anyhow:
- Lifebars. Font in lifebars is terrible, and should be in all capitals.
- The timer. Well, I think looking at that should tell you it's wrong, the first six isn't even in line with the other two!
- I am very curious to know why exactly there are two banana's over the lifebars. Or at least that's what they look like to me? Look at the timer ends of the lifebars.
- The win marks are also not in line.
- No wins texts, but that's ok I guess.
- The, fireballs, well, they look really naf, just, "being" there, they look like they were just stuck in there at the last moment.
- Scorpion needs transparencies, and yes, it can be done in paint.
- Are those grey things sweat droplets from Scorpion? Or are they bullet's from Stryker's gun? I can't tell, but if they're meant to be sweat droplets, they don't look right, if they're meant to be bullets, they don't look right.
- If they are bullets, then where is the bullet trail? (Matrix style of course ).
- If they are bullets, then why aren't they in line?
- The background is soooooo simple. Two props from the warehouse do not make a background, I'm afraid.
- Idea, is SO overdone it's unbelievable.
- Font for the text "Matrixality" is terrible.
- "Matrixality"? Say it to yourself, surely you can't cringe without saying it. It's SO cheesy!
- It's all so small!

That about covers it really, keep working. Some detail to backgrounds, and colour detail to some of the smaller sprites (the unnamed grey thingies ), and even you shall see the difference.

blacksaibot knows more about fake pictures, when he does fake pics he really shows potential when it comes to editing and all that, if you look at Kombat thread, thats what fake pics are all about. Im kinda lazy to ADD BODY TEXt and all that bull what you said, but theres no reason to get mad at him his just trying to help you.
