Oh wow, a good fake. The fatality is kind of plain though.

The glowing/soul effects are B..E..A.. UTIFUL. The skull effect is nice. The sprite quality is excellent as well. However, I don't see the point of the blood if he's just taking the skull soul or whatever the thing is.

I'm quite liking this .
Here's the infamous list:

- A few shadows would make this picture that little bit better.
- The lifebars are MK2, with MK3 sprites and background, I'm not keen on the mixing stuff, but it's up to you.
- The Soul Skull seems a little squared off.
- As bs said, there is little point to the blood unless he is really taking the skull out of his head. If that's the case, then ignore what I just said, lol.
- The background has not dimmed for the fatality however. I personally think that would've improved this a little, as the effects would stand out even more, especially the lighting effects on Shang.

Good things:
+ The effects are pretty good.
+ The extra lighting effects, mixed with the outlining effects thingies, are a nice touch, and show you've thought about this.
+ The idea is quite interesting as well.
+ The blood you did add, is not excessive, which I like, it's just perfect.

A good fake here. Keep working at them, it'l be nice to see some more stuff from you, welcome back btw.

Well, I must say the 'glow' effect around Shang Tsung is amoung the best I have ever seen, though the skull needs some work. Its a little sqaured at the front tip, but the aura and colors around it are quite good.

The sprite's positions are excellent, especially Tsung's. Even though you mixed games, its nothing bad, just a peeve of mine I guess. You added win tokens, but left the shadows off. This would have been a near perfect with them. The blood is unneccesary, but now I'm not sure if thats the skull or a soul. If it is a skull, good job. If not, leave the blood off.

Overall, its solid. Its an interesting idea, either way.

Pretty standard fare.

I dont like it because it seems like there is a lack of effort in it....Shangs glow is a simple outer glow effect in photoshop with a wider radius and the skull is just a color swapped green then a glow was added...blood is hum drum. Nice try tho beta luck next time and dont take this the wrong way its just to help.

I really like the idea. Overall is a good pic. 4/5
