Hey there folks; this is my 1st go at doing something like this, so please let me know what you think of it plz

Chapter 1: The Start of all Over

The Sun is slowly setting into the horizon, the wind is blowing a gentle breeze into the trees, and 5 of Earthrealms champions are returning from Outworld, were the Dragon King was slain.

"The Dragon King is no-more, The wereabouts of Shang Tsung And Quan Chi are still unknown, but I'm presueming them to be missing.I thank you all once again for saving Earthrealm, and would be well advised to get some much needed rest,At this moment in time, I have to take a matter into my own hands, its not without regreat that I do this, but that is the punishement for putting the lifes of everybody in Earthrealm under a threat that could, and might have, killed us all " Rayden told his prized Warriors, "But remember, be ready for Kombat at all times.Evil never rests."

He then vanished into the sky, as the sun set over the Wu Shi Acdemy, present were Lui Kang, recently re-united with his body, Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage and Jax.

"It is so good to be able to draw breath from the air, I will not forget that my body was used to kill so many innocent, this is something that I must live for with the rest of my life" Lui Kang said regrettfully.

"Bro, Ya should be lucky ya still here, You were DEAD for crying out loud, of course ya anit gonna know the ins and outs of what happend, but you cant change the past, its not possable!" Jax saying, as the 5 of them started walking to one of the main corridors.

"Yes, I Myself might not have belevied it to be true, but on seeing it with my eyes that your soul has regained your body, then I must add that going through time is not such a remote possiabliaty"Kung Lao said as the approched a turn in the corridor, going left down a hallway, with monks at either side of them bowing as they pasted, in honor of those who stood before them.

"Time Travel???" Cage said as he walked faster then turned around, now walking backwards at the same pace as the rest.

"Yes."

"Well why have we not heard anything like this before"

"That is because I only know of such a legend in passing, I do not have an idea of who or if anyone knows of it"

"Well can you not find out?"

"Whats the point, so you can go out and look good?"

"I Dont see why not, could start my out even earlier"

"Fool."

"Johnny!" Liu Kang Shouts, "Behind You!"

"Wha..."as he turns around he hits off against a wall, the rest stand and chuckle.

"I would have paid good hard green to see that!"Jax said laughingly

"Damn You Jax,a think a might have broke my nose, but thats one other thing, lets eat!" Cage said to Jax, as Kung Lao entered the room, it was quite small, he went aroung the room lighting the torches, as Lui Kang, Sub-Zero, Jax and Cage all sat down at the table.

"I shall bring back food and water in a few moments",Kung Lao says as he exits the room.

"I hope that fish and water are ok for everyone here?"Lui Kang askes

"That is very kind Lui", Sub-Zero says.

"Hey, might not be a feast, but it will sure fill a gap" says Jax, before Johnny could open his mouth, Kung Lao and 3 or 4 monks bring in food, water and wine for them all.

"Thanks"Johnny says Kung Lao.Kung Lao takes his seat and says a small word of thanks to all that defeated the Dragon King.

"Now,eat!" Lui Kang says, they all start to eat.

"Now what was I saying, it would be good to go back in time, alter histroy, that sorta stuff" Cage said to the group.

"Well, I have heard of a legend about such a device being made, and used as well, but is really not permitted to be spoken of by thoses that know." Sub-Zero said.

"Really?I do belive I have also heard the legend, but am unable to remeber any of it"Kung Lao said to Sub-Zero,"Is there By any chance that you know of this Legend?"he asked.

"Indeed I do"he said softly"I do, but you must never make public of such that I speak of"
Chapter 2: Nova

All are sitting at the table, waiting for Sub-Zero to tell what he is going on about with this Legend.

"The Legend, Is the called the legend of Divine,a man with a soul so pure, so clean, that no-one could imagine him doing anything bad.He lived millienia ago, a man who knew mech and magic,so but mixing these 2 things together, and with a knowledge that has rarely been seen since, he created 6 forearm devices,know as 'Nova' as to travel back and forwards in time and space, these were at the time the most powerful thing ever made, the time devices were unreal, that much so that no one in the village knew that he wasnt joking,so he became an outcast,he was sent to a hilltop outside the village, and his only contact were those of his friends that stood by him, and with every passing day his soul became tanited."Sub-Zero said,as the rest of them were intenly hanging on every word he said,"Divine one day went down to the village,it was a full moon that night, and proclaimed to them:You see me as a monster, a man with no morals.Banished to that hill, but 30 full moons later, i shall return to this very spot, with a small rabbit, to prove that i have travelled in time, mark that chick with a red spot, fence this area off, do what you will, but i WILL return"

"So we get sum guy back in the stone age time travling?"Jax asked, unsure of what he had just been told.

"I think I remeber how this ends"Kung Lao says, " Am I right in thinking that Divine came back in 30 full moons, and then slayed the villigers?

"Well he came back at the start of the 33rd new moon, and a few folk had saw him, still in the cloths, still with the rabbit, and still with the same rage that he had been carring.He was stoned to death a few days later for witchcraft.The device that he had on him was destroyed also"Sub-Zero said to them.

"Not the nicest of ways to go, but hey, beats having ya neck ripped out"Cage said

"Quite"Lui said in reply to his comment.

"Are they any of these Nova out there?"Jax asked Sub-Zero.

"Yes, I know the location of 2 of them,and do have 1 in my posession, but I do not like using these devices"he says.

"You have used them???" Kung Lao said suprisingly.

"Yes I have, but only on the one occasion, I was under attack by a large group of Takaran beast, I dont know what happend there, but I went back in time to were i was, knowing the ambush and what they were going to do at the start gave me the advantage I needed to make the size of the group at lot more manageable, but trying to keep out of myselfs road was a very hard thing to do"

"I bet it is" Cage said," But have you not been tempted to go into the past and try to change what happend to change history?Stop Goro in his tracks,or even kill Shang Tsung as a baby?"

"But the use of it is unnerving, the feeling of of your soul being ripped apart, then remearging is not something that I would like to have to do on a regular basis" Zero warned,"But I feel it is time to start looking for them, as if 1 falls into the wrong hands, then not only is Earthrealm in danger, the exsistance of life as we know it is in danger.This will be dangerous, and very risky, I feel that if we go into the future, then go to the past, we can see what has happend with everything through time"

"I am unsure as to that would be a wise move,to go and change time,the future is not ment to be written in stone, nor is it any of our possesions that we change it at all, its is not as the gods would have made it,and for that fact that a small change could disrupt time itself, or put us into a parrell universe" Lui Kand told them.

The group then start to eat more of the food on the table.The setting sun on the Wu Shi Acedemy, the 5 retire into a large room, with beds lined up against the two walls ,Lui Kang and Johnny Cage take the two on the left, with Kung Lao, Jax and Sub-Zero on the right side of the room.A single torch illiuminating the room to make it seem warm and inviting, and small gaps in the wall, to let a little air in, and also some of the nite sky.They all went and sat on the ends of each of there beds, with the exception on Jax, who just went right into his bed for the eveing, althought he did not go to sleep there and then.

"Do any of you care to witness, or to use, the device?"Sub-Zero asked.

"Well I am intrested in to what would happen"Kung Lao said.

"I shall go on this time travel"Lui Kang agreed,"But I am still unsure about what may happen"

"Can we go to the future first?Hope the folk remember me then" Cage said

"Do you ever think of anyone EXCEPT yourself?"Jax said to Cage angerly.

"Yeah......All my adoring fans, and the enemys that we face"Cage replied.

"We should get some rest before dawn, as we will be taking a step into the unknown tommorow" Sub-Zero said to the group, as Kung Lao got up and started walking to the torch, as the other 4 got into there bed for the night, he put the torch in a small bucket of water sitting in the corner of the room, the room then went black, except for the light that was being let into the room by the gaps in the wall.
