Fan Fiction: Shokans Loss
The wastelands of Outworld, many battles were fought here. Even more warriors were killed here. Since the creation of the portals that opened gateways into the other realms chaos had ruled over all of the realms. Again, time after time war is taking its course on the destruction of kingdoms and eras.
It has been months since Shao Kahn's forces were pushed out of Earthrealm. Shao Kahn's forces were crippled and his generals abandoned him. Only a select few remained under the emperor's rule. Shao Kahn focused his small empire into conquering the realm of Edenia yet again thanks to the failed attempt of Shinnok from taking over the realms.
The Ex-God was sent back into the Netherealm and all of his anandoned followers turned to Shao Kahn. Edenia had just managed to break free of Shinnok's rule thanks to the aid of Liu Kang and the rest of the mortals. Shao Kahn had his troops positioned in the Outworld Wastelands ready to strike under his lead General, Kano's command.
However, Kano's forces were caught off guard as the desperate realm gathered its weakened forces and struck out against Shao Kahn's army. Kano's soldiers easily slaughtered Edenia's soldiers row by row with the aid of Earthrealm's smuggled weapons. However, Edenia retaliated with arrows that were magicaly enhanced by the elemental powers. The hordes of Tarkatan were either frozen solid or turned to ash from the burning flames. Kano's forces had to rejoin his unit with another General, Noob Saibot.
Their joined force pushed back Edenia's army and it seemed like they were going to win. Kano managed to pin down Kitana's unit with the aid of Reptile's troops. Hope was fading out for the realm of Edenia untill the mighty Shokan arrived. The Shokan appered from the east where the mountains touched the sky. The battle between Kano's forces and Kitana's forces stopped in their tracks as they watched the Shokan march their way.
Edenia's forces cheered as the Shokan plowed through rows of Shao Kahn's armies. The war was turned over by Prince Goro, for his elite unit crushed entire platoons of Shao Kahn's armies. Edenia and Kuatan's combined forces were more than a match for Shao Kahn. In the heat of battle Goro prooved himself as the Prince Of Kuatan by great deeds or heroism. Howver, Kano had one last attempt at turning the tides of the war. Kano sent a highly elite unit of shadowy ninjas to assasinate specific generals in the enemie's army. Goro was in hot pursuit of Kano's army but was cut off by Noob Saibot's unit. Goro and his men were surrounded and was isolated from the rest of the army. Goro fought well as he crushed all the warriors that came his way. With a loud roar he himself knocked down over 50 soldiers running his way. Goro picked up several soldiers with his gigantic arms and tossed them into crowds knocking them down like bowling balls. Goro was fighting for his life, but one by one each of his Shokan warriors were overwhelmed by the number of men charging in his unit. Goro fought hard enough to see Kitana's reinforcements come his way. Goro had swords in his 4 arms and hacked and slashed away at all of his opponents. Goro managed to break through the enemie's lines and began to retreat back to his own front. But suddenly he was cut off by Noob Saibot himself. The battle was epic for each side of the army watched these two warriors face themselves in deadly combat. Goro at first out strengthed Noob Saibot and tossed him around like a rag doll. However, Noob Saibot's stealth and speed were too much for Goro. Noob Saibot took a dagger and pierced it through Goro's back. Noob Saibot faded away in the shadows as Kitana's unit charged in and finished off what Goro started. Goro was mortally wounded and was brought back to the main base. Kitana left the front lines to accompany Goro in his dying days. The Shokan were enraged. They pushed Kano's forces all the way back into their own territory. Shao Kahn called off the attack and Edenia was succesfully defended. Goro relized that his forces had won and in his dying breathes he held Kitana's hand and passed on into the heavens, as prince of the Shokan and proud champion that he was.
