Due to the overbearing interference, leading to several pull outs, the competition has come to a halt.

Much to my dismay, this endeavor will not be able to succeed. However, I still very much encourage others to continue utilizing their creativity, and I hope to see amazing work in the future.

I'm looking for the best costume design for Khrome so I can get it drawn professionally.

Outsourcing is considered cheating and is not allowed.

You may want to take saiZero's advice and find someone here on the site to draw the costumes for you. Be sure to credit whoever creates the art.

I'm not entering the competition because I feel I have a fat chance of winning. I have tried contacting a few artists on this site, one has given me advise regarding Khrome; his name is EmperorKahn. So thank u again to him. The other guy is JAX007. I asked him is he available for commission but he doesn't even reply.
I'll be keeping a close-eye on this tournament and whatever I feel is the best costume design for Khrome, I will get that re-done by a professional artist with assistance of original artist.

Note: This is not (presently) endorsed or run by the site. We will be intending to run any Khrome fan-art pieces that meet satisfaction when available [subject to editorial discretion].

Commissioning art is a part of most creative enterprises. Mortal Kombat itself is presently built on the involvement of outsourced, commissioned artists. It's a common professional practise. Officially run KAK contests have allowed commissioned art in the past because they are not strictly art contests: A distinction that differs from the otherwise reasonable enterprise of only designing visuals.

This seems to have been lost on some. It may be useful to consider.

By all means, though, have the contest per the rules you desire. This sounds like fun and I hope lots of people will get involved. A Khrome art contest is swell, too.

In this sense, I find the idea of paying for professional work to be distasteful.

I am aware there are professional artists, or otherwise highly skilled artists, on this site, which is why I suggested to hankypanky1 that he follow saiZero's advice.

Like who? Please give me leads. I have tried contacting some artists that are fans of MK. I was only able to find only a few where I like their art style.

From what I can read in the top post, a piece of character artwork doesn't seem to be necessary, as long you can explain how he/she looks.

As for myself, I'm not sure if I would participate, as I don't feel this character... However, I will look forward to see what you guys come up with. ^^

If that is the case then there should be a separate topic on art contest for best costume design for Khrome.

You really are interested in nothing but looks. If you want an art contest for Khrome, maybe you should start one because everyone else is more interested in the character himself/herself rather than his shiny metal alooks

I'm actually hoping to come across a concept where he isn't shiny and metal.

I wouldn't mind seeing that either.

Alright, now you have to do it.

I always pictured Khrome as having the majority of his body covered with normal skin, but also having a certain area covered mostly with metal and have it slowly spreading across his body.

I pretty much imagined him in formal attire with waved hair and glasses.

Something tells me his metallic abilities shouldn't be conspicuous.

Putting the story aspects and the character's background aside, do u think combining these two Ninjas to make one Ninja instead of two would give him more of a chance of showing up on MKX roster or even DLC?

Tremor's already been in two games, it's too late to make him somebody else.

Better late than never. I think if Khrome had Tremor's abilities then Khrome has more of a chance of being on roster or DLC for MKX.

Tremor has also been established as a brown ninja because his abilities are earth based. Why would he be white but still retain earth abilities? None of the other ninjas changed colors because that is who they are (the yellow ninja, the blue ninja, the green ninja)
