PROLOGUE

for years I have struggled to reak my revenge upon my empor... nemesis, Shao Kahn. ever since the day Princess Kitana told me of my true heritage, all the pieces of the puzzle suddenly fell into place. before a battle, I snuck away on a suicide mission on the distracted tyrant. he would have payed if it weren't for his wretched sorcerror. I fought hard, but he was too much for me; he couldn't take my soul, however, because he had gotten word of a yellow ninja breaching the fortress.

there I lay. sore, bloodied, half dead, and contemplating suicide. my spear was at my fingertips. groggily, I picked it off the ground and raised it, with what little strength I had left, above my neck. for another eternity, I layed there waiting to either change my mind or for my fingers to break off from sheer exaustion, when I decided that my revenge was more important than my honor.

Shao Kahn will pay, this I am sure of. an alliance has been made between sorcerrors Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. when I find Quan Chi, I shall find Shang Tsung and have revenge on him, but not after he grants me the only information on Shao Kahn's wherabouts
