- Fireworks effects look great, but still look just like an easy-to-use computer effect (whether that be photoshop, gimp, or whatever program you use)
- Don't see the point in making the flag glow if it isn't levitating, and it looks really awkwardly placed on his hand. I'd rather you use Johnny Cage (a more american esque character) and just have him holding the flag in the air with a cheesy grin
- The moon in the corner just looks bad. I'm all for making your own stuff on these fakes but this is just too simple (white circle cropped and shaped into a crescent moon + glowing effect) and it takes the eye away by stuffing it into the corner. Maybe have it peeking out from the top of the clif or behind one of the firework explosions.
- You picked a good sprite for Liu Kang to show how dazed and in awe he is

I wouldnt call this a fake since it's too big, more an MK-related tribute to the 4th of july. Despite the fact that it probably took 2.5 minutes ot make, at least its more pleasing to the eye than most of your "fakes"

Ermac is levitating/holding the flag on the palm of his hand, while simultaneously launching the fireworks with that same special move.

I like it (and i get the joke)

It's not that it sucks it's just boring and plain. The background is hardly custom at all. Just a custom moon, clouds at the bottom and you got rid of the bridge behind them. The fireworks are cool but I don't see why you put Kang and "Friendship" on the screen.

1/5 since it's for the 4th and 2/5 for the fake. So 3/5 overall.

Why do you guys always try to deconstruct my fakes like that? Most of the time your breakdowns are dead wrong. It's as if you're trying to rationalize what you're seeing. (Same thing with Fedegita's post)

No I'm pretty sure our deconstructions are right most of the time. Don't forget most of us are fake makers too, we know the tricks of the trade. And breaking down fakes are a part of the whole critiquing process. If you really didn't like it you would submit it on another website where people with just as much or more experience than you don't critique it.

If your going to say something like that everytime someone tries to critique, then I don't see why I should critique your work. I will not bother.
