It's not that there bad or any thing, I think it's cuz of the program you used.
I mean, I did pictures just like that on my school computer back in the 80's. lol.

All you need to do is get your self a good graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Photo Shop. Have a play around on it, get to know the program and understand the concept of Layers and you'll be making artwork like my sub-zero picture (BELOW) in no time.

I don't mean how they look, I mean the size. BMPs by and large are going to be 2 to 5 times the size of a JPG. A 640x480 BMP is 900kB, period. No compression is available. Plus they just act weird in the browser.

Remember MKRocket? His edits and sometimes backgrounds? He used Paint sometimes, and made really great fakes.

I used to use Paint, and moved on to Photoshop. While I find it more effent to do stuff there, some people still like to use Paint, and they're still cranking out quality stuff (I just think I'm finishing my work faster and can go outside and play... ...with girls).

There's a difference between editing someone else's work and creating your own stuff. While there are several issues here, I will give credit for the attempt and effort. Just keep working at it Elder, you'll be able to pull off some even better stuff with enough patience and practice, even in paint.

I totally agree with that because I primarily use MS Paint for editing and PSP7 just for blurring and making minor color changes.

Did people forget the winner of my fake pic kontest which was made entirely made out of MS Paint.

The zombie Liu Kang was okay. I just have to nitpick that Shang Tsung only snapped Liu's neck and some blood came out of his ear or neck...but it was alright...

The program doesn't affect the quality of the comic that much. The advantage of Photoshop and the liek is that it does things automatically and therefore faster. So a two-hour pic in Photoshop will look better than a two-hour pic in Paint, but that's only if you give yourself a time limit instead of saying "I'll work on this until it's done".
I'm guessing, though, that you did this with a mouse? What you really should do is get a penmouse and tablet. With these, it's real easy to make b/w sketches in Paint. Just start with a light gray and work in layers. Gradually get darker. Work at a High resolution/Large canvas for best results.
That is, of course if you can draw with pencil and paper. If you can't, you shouldn't be posting art at all.

I like the subtle way of getting to brag Sub-Zedox. Very clever.
