I'm currently doing artwork of every character (excluding guests and bosses) from MK 2011 and when I finish I will be putting it together as a poster, similar to what the MK "character-select" screens look like. You can see what I already have done here: http://reapingdarkside.deviantart.com/

I need advice on how to arrange the characters. The poster will have 5 columns, 6 rows. I can't decide whether to group certain characters by their story (Scorpion opposite Sub-Zero, Sektor opposite Cyrax, All the female ninjas+Sindel in one row) or to just kinda do it random. The select screens in the games never really had any symmetry until Armageddon, and that was part of the beauty. In MKII, the 3 male ninjas and 2 female ninjas were all scattered out in different rows/columns. I'd be interested to hear what you guys think would be coolest.
The arrangement I have now is: Row 1: Scorpion, Johhny Cage, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sub Zero. Row 2: Sektor, Ermac, Reptile, Rain, Cyrax Row 3: Raiden, Noob, MK Dragon Logo, Smoke, Nightwolf Row 4: Kitana, Jade, Sindel, Skarlet, Mileena Row 5: Jax, Sonya, Kano, Kabal, Stryker Row 6: Shang Tsung, Kenshi, Baraka, Sheeva, Quan Chi
