Kitana and Mileenas Fatality ANIMATION (my best yet)

This an animation i made that i think i worked the most on because i had to get alot of sprites for it compared to my other animations. I hope u like it.

Ok, first of all, if you ever another ani which takes more than one minute to load again, I'll never watch your anis again.
Now, for the actual ani.
The idea is cool, you pulled it off well, but where is Johnny Cage? It says he's Mileena's partner on the lifebar. Shouldn't Mileena and Kitana's lifebars be together instead? And what's with the frog passing by?

It shouldnt of took more then a minute to load also the lifebars r set up like mvc, that mean Kitana and Mileena r a team and Raiden and cage r a team. Also thats not a frog lol its cyrax in his shark form.
You got sprites? Well, you should have gotten more, there are a couple missing that makes some parts of the animation jumpy.
Anyhow:
- Where is Cage? If it's that "thing" floating in the background, then why?
- The blood of the actual cut, where the bubble appears is pretty terrible, and the animation for it falling to the ground and spreading out, is also terrible. Needs more frames, and did youuse motion tweening anywhere here? If so, make them more fluent (increase length)
- When Kitana produces her fan, she is still moving in her stance, the fan is stationary.
- The idea of having the line of blood produced by Kitana's fan is bad and doesn't look quite right.
- Raiden's daze is missing a frame I believe and it looks jumpy every time he "rotates".
- Mileena's avoidance technique (i.e. her throw) is a nice idea, but it needs all the frames, it looks hella jumpy there.
- Remember about movement and stuff, it's not necessarily making the animation fast, its making it fluent grin That sounds so nerdy, lol.
- The way the "Finish Him!" text dissapears is really ugly IMO. There's nothin wrong with a good old flash and dissapear smile (I should know, lol).
- The timer appears a little small.
- The way Raiden falls down isn't bad at all, but something is quite right, the idea of using his walking animation (I think?) is a VERY nice idea, however, when he hits the floor, i doubt his legs would be quite like that, though I'm not so sure there is a frame to show that, but there we go grin.
- Font for "Kitana and Mileena Win", not so great.
- You seem to have some "squares" where Raiden gets split and where his legs are walking.
- Kitana throwing her fan, done with a punch? Fair enough to get the fan the right height I guess, but you could have made the fan move slightly diagonally.
- There are occasionally some white dots on the sprites. Cutting problems?
SOUNDS and MUSIC:
- The music is not good at all. I think you've been using midi files right? They are good files, but that particular one does NOT fit with the stage and is also played late. It should play when the announcer says finish him
- Announcer clash! You have the MKDA announcer AND the Shao Kahn announcer. It doesn't seem right.
- Kitana...........Mileena........Win. Okay, the win could have been something else. There is a sound of Kahn saying "I Win", you could have taken the win from that, it would have been MUCH better than deleting the s off of the wins. And then of course, it's not going to sound right anyway with the huge gap.

And good things:
+ Lifebars are nicely done, though I'm not so sure what's with the shorter lifebars?
+ I LOVE the way the volume decreases on the falling into the, uh, Copper (II) Sulphate solution (lol, weird guess grin). Nice thought and nicely executed. The only thing is I'm not so sure that particular scream (from MKDA) is the best one, an MK2 scream might have been better.
+ The pallete swap on the acid was pretty well done.
+ The blood that pours out of him is very good.
+ It is much more fluent that your other animations.
+ Alot of thought has gone into this, which is very nice to see (well, except for Kitana and Mileena being in a team and all...lol).

Animation: 6
Sounds + Music: 8
Overall (not average): 7.5

*Gasps*, I'm going to take a rest now smile. Nice work Jordan, this is definately a step up for ya smile.

Nice loading time =/

I don't really like the dark blue water you used for the stage. The way you made "FINSIH HIM" disappear was pretty weird looking.

I like the fatatility, it was pretty damn hilarious how Raiden's upper body flopped into the pool and when his legs fell to ghe ground. I really like how you made Mileena dodge Kitana's fans. That was nice.

This was a hell of a lot better than the last one you made.

ok sum1 asked why is one lifebar smaller then the other one because when a player in marvel vs capcom is not active their lifebar is smaller then the other one. Also sum1 asked why is cage not out there when Mileena is on his side when Mileena is really on Kitanas side because the lifebars are on top of each other like mvc. Maybe sum1 has sum questions they didnt post it might help

Tell you what, how about having Sector do multiple upper-cuts launching each body part into the air. When he's finished his last upper-cut, have all these bones fall from the sky.
Think you can swing that?
If not, think of something creative with his missle coming out of his chest.

I don't know about how the blood just sort of looks like sticks near the end but that's the only thing that bugs me. The upper raiden falling into the pool thing was marvelous. I Like it.

Uh Jordan, you didn't answer, WHERE THE HELL IS CAGE?

And, I dont think it's really Marvel vs Capcom styled, or there would be energybars underneath the characters.

ok the reason cage isnt there because Kitana was fighting raiden and then it said finish him and then mileena came in to do the fatality. Why do u have to be so difficult.

Difficult? How am I being difficult?
Infact, it's stupid that Cage's still alive but not there. In Marvel vs Capcom, the fight ends when ALL fighters on one team loose. Cage is still alive, so they couldn't be finishing off Rayden.
Am I being difficult? I think not.

yes u r being difficult because u keep trying to prove ur right. I never said it was mvc i said it was LIKE mvc. Anyways if u would open ur eyes u would see cage is dead. Also thx tim for all ur feedback im glad u did that because now i know what to improve on grin

If you think I'm being difficult, you've got issues.
Now, as for Cage being dead after all, excuse me for not seeing it the first time I saw the ani, and not waiting five more minutes for the ani to load only to check if he was dead or not. All you told me was that he was ''away''. That didn't help. I cant believe you expected me to wait five more minutes just to check if he was god damn dead or not.
I never said it was Marvel vs Capcom. I'm pretty sure it isn't, since those are MK characters. You said it's Marvel vs Capcom styled. Making two on two battles isn't ''like marvel vs capcom''. MK TE already has that in a very simmilar way, with the lifebar getting smaller when the character isn't fighting.
And what do u mean I keep trying to prove I'm right? Right about what? I like the ani, so what are you talking about?
Really, what the HELL are you talking about?

If you werent so lazy you could of just read the posts above, instead u have to make me waste my time by having to tell u everything. Also if u seen the animation once u wouldnt have to wait another 5 to see it again to check the life bars because the swf file would already be in ur temp folder. Also if u know it isnt mvc then why the hell would u say if it was like mvc there would be energy bars under the lifebars. As for u being right is u just cant drop it u have to get the last word.

Don't mean to provoke a war or anything, but even if that animation is in a temp folder, and you wanna see it again, it still takes ages. I think it has something to do with the way you did the loading screen.
Forget the fancy percent stuff, just do a regular flashing loading text until it's loaded the last frame. Works all the time for me grin.

Does anyone have any ideas for my next animation? and tim if u see it once u shouldnt have to wait for it to load again, well not on my computer not sure about u guys.

Yeah, you SHOULDN'T! Lol. I don't know why, it must be something to do with the way you loaded it. Maybe not, I don't know, but either way, it does take forever, and besides, how did you manage to get the filesize so big?

EDIT: it loads without hesitation now, lol.
Puzzling though, if its only 394 kb, then why does it take so long to load in the first place?

well i had sum1 look at it that is really good with flash and he said it loads so slow because i use to many bitmaps i guess. Also the reason i used that type of loading because if i used the other one it would play all weird, like it u look at my jade animation it stops in some places, that loader makes it so it doesnt do that.
