Very nice job. I'm liking the shading. It's a bit messy though (heh, one of my tradmarks), unless that's a background you should try to be a bit clean with the smudges and shading. A cool and easy technique to keep your work clean is use a peice of scrap paper to reat your arm on the completed parts of your art while you're working on another part.

This is a great start though. It would also be nice to see more highlights.

Pretty accurate, the face and hands need some tweaking.

Also, to clean up the drawing, you might try inking it. Then erase the pencil marks. You can get rid of the pencil marks completely in a painting program. Then it will look like a finished professional drawing.

i like it, its a form of copy drawing, which is still good as this looks quite similiar to the original picture, and yeah you do need to work on her eyes, but um, besides that good job, four out of five dragons

thanx, I'm not too good at eyes but I'll give it a shot and try to clean it up a bit.

I look at her and see Mileena more than Kitana. She has an evil look.

its not reall an "evil" look, its the no pupil look that makes her look a little menissing. The only real problem I see is she doesnt seem to really be holding the fan, it doesnt line up with her knuckles, and her chin is not completly square with her forehead, only a tad off though. I like it though for the most part.

yeah, when I fix it up a bit i'll re-scan it and put it up as kitana version: 2. I've never been good with eyes but I'll try. Thanx for your advice!

Pretty good. Cool pencil coloring. The face and hands need more work. Kitana looks a little thick or chuby, I think her waist should be smaller.

it's amazing, but i don't think Kitana has white eyes. It doesn't look like she's holding the sword very well. All in all I give it a 4/5

Wow, talk about nostalgia. This was the first entry i ever made on this site!

anyways, just to clear things up:

- eventually i drew in her eyes properly but i never bothered scanning the updated version. if anyone is actually interested in seeing it, let me know and i might scan it for you

- thats not a sword, its her fan kinda 'folded up'. im not sure exactly how to explain it, but have a look at her concept sketches of her for MKDA and you'll see what i mean
