Klash of the Time Lords -fake-

Newcomer Geras faces off against Mortal Kombat 11 guest character Prince of Persia, who is also a Time Lord. Their mastery over chrono manipulation sends them to an alternate MK3 timeline where the Sands of Time resides. Here they can take full advantage of their natural element and bend time and space to their will.

Artist's Remarks:

A Mortal Kombat 11 concept. In this piece a match starts out with modern graphical rendering and gameplay mechanics but then in the second round transitions to a more nostalgic 2D aesthetic with simplified gameplay. A similar approach was used with Super Mario Oddysey where your character can jump into a 2D wall and traverse with classic controls and look. This concept could fit with MK11 lore where dimensions and timelines are converging.

Holy fucking shit. I cannot wait for this upcoming FPK if this is the competition I face! This is going to be siiiiiiiiick.

I love how you mixed the two "worlds" together and changed the timer.

I hope they'll be doing more than just standing around next time though.

Thank you sir. I can't wait to get cracking as well once the rules and time frame are finalized. The rules seem pretty set but holding off for now on my entry in case there are any more changes
