"Master Animator"? Lol, when the hell did that start?

ANYWAY .

I like how you did it. I'm not wild about the idea, it's kinda boring I mean Ermac is known more for his psychokinetics nowadays, but still.

Though, just thought I'd point out these, take them for what you wish :

- No shadows before the screen darkens.
- Ermac isn't actually moving in his stance before the fatality starts. That is pretty easy to do.
- Can't really tell but is Scorpion's daze animation missing a frame or two? Dunno, but looks kinda clunky, could be wrong.
- No lifebars - your choice on these really, but I always like em in .
- If there's one thing I really dislike in the ani, it would be the actual explosion, for the following reasons:
--- The blood spiral thing. It kinda looked cool the first time you did it (whatever ani that was), but now it just looks a bit strange, mostly cuz it's MK1. Rip the MK1 blood cuz it's actually really cool, lol. Lots of it flying about the screen (look at Raiden's fatal in MK1 Arcade) and it would look muuuuch better.
--- The build up for the explosion is so slow (the green shimmering), yet the explosion is so fast (I can count the frames on the blood spiral, lol), Should be the other way around, fast shimmering, fast explosion, but slow afterwards like with the blood falling with the bones (rotating if you please ).
--- The actual bones. Apart from the skull, do they ALL fly to the bottom of the screen? Lol, that's a little cheap. Loads more bones flying both up and down and bouncing would've been cool.
--- Would've liked the screen to shake too, much more dramatic.
- Back off of the explosion, heh, the win pose. I like what ya tried here, but I really don't think it would've been so hard to make one where he is facing the screen, maybe a couple of green shimmers on the floating.
- Wins texts. If you're gonna have the text "Ermac Wins" on there, then it's set in the game (after all, it's the game text), so ya might as well put it all on there, just for a bit of polish .

Do like the green fireball though, and the shimmering, but as I said, just wish the shimmer was a little quicker.

Despite all that though, I like it, heh. I wish you would put some sounds on these yourself though, everybody loves sounds, lol.

Thanks for another in depth critique Tim. Though I dont really agree with your perspective of the build up and subsequent explosion, your other mentioned points would def make it a better ani. But truthfully I'm just lazy haha. We really should collaborate and make an uber animation sometime!

I really like everything about this fake. The spiral blood animation was excellent and very original imo. Reminds me of Sonyas Fire ball in Mk4 (the way it explodes), awesome job with the flying Ermac and his green power.

The way the green energy glows in Scorpion is fantastic.
