Mediator Kitana

I am Kitana, princess of the realm of Edenia, and currently general of Edenia's armies. With Shang Tsung's defeat at the hands of Kung Lao, the mummified army has stopped their assault on our forces. With this time of peace, a proper burial was given to the fallen Shokan prince, Goro, and an elite task force was sent out to find his killer, Noob Saibot, and bring him and Quan Chi, who hasn't been found, to justice.

Only two weeks had passed before activity from the army was detected once again by my scouts. The army had been revived, and was attacking my people once again! I worried that this was a sign of the Dragon King's return, so I did not hesitate in asking King Gorbak if he would be willing to aide Edenia in its battle. He was reluctant at first, but after being told the stories of Onaga's treachery and the probable fate of the realms if he would take them all for himself, he finally chose to help my people.

The war raged, and the mummies crumbled on the battlefield as the Shokan and Edenian warriors advanced. We held them back for as long as we could, but in the end, we were being out numbered by Onaga's forces; his mummies were joined by Oni demons and heavily-armoured, red warriors, and the tides had turned in the Dragon King's favour... Until a barrage of weapon blasts from soldiers not from either side came and drove Onaga's forces far enough for Edenian priests to create a magic barrier around our territory.

The warriors turned out to be Centaurians, the creatures that once aided Shao Kahn in his attempted take-over of Earthrealm. One of them delivered an urgent message from a high-ranking Centaurian official, stating that their people were under attack by the Oni and requested Edenia's and Kuatan's assistance.

The Centaurians were the natural enemies of the Shokan for many years, and this hatred increased once the Shokan were no longer in Kahn's favour. There has been a truce for years between the species, and I was the mediator between them for the last several years, especially when rumours of Kahn's death spread throughout Outworld; however, now is the time to test the limits of this peace.

With Outworld in chaos, and all the realms facing take-over at the hands of Onaga, I can only hope that the united armies of Edenia, Kuatan, and Centaura can prevent further destruction and send the Dragon King back into oblivion. If only I could send a message to Raiden and ask if he'd be willing to bring Earthrealm fighters to help...
