Sensui got a quick boost with a couple of hits, lorne did fight back, but sensui over powered him with another 2 hits, lorne didn't want to give up and got another hit, but was to weak to continue.

Winner of this tournament will receive: 10 Dragon Points.

These are slight alters of what I had decided originally, but when rating character threads I generally award 2-3 points. I found it only fair I should raise the reward totals in the tournament itself.

The 3rd tournament will most likely offer consolation points to each entrant, since this contest has already begun.

Another idea I had was to possible except "preregistration" at some point. Of course it is too soon to do this now, but perhaps at a later date we can begin taking entries for the next character tournament. This will allow users to submit their ideas, rather than create a thread about in on this forum. I do enjoy character concept threads... but they seem to be overly abundant lately.

I'm sure many users would want to earn dp's and this is a great way to earn them, by participating and bringing their creativity to the site for the purpose of keeping the future of mortal kombat well and alive and to have fun at the same time.

Pre-registeration is a good idea, but i'm afraid pre-registration will have to be delayed until a much further time, unless you(~Crow~) are willing to accept preregisters and keep them with you. For me, i'll wait until i have all the new rules for the 3rd tournament ready, so that all users will understand how the 3rd tournament will work, then i will accept pre-registerations for characters.
Pre-registerations for judges will also become available at the same time as pre-registerations for characters.

I'm already starting to build the layout for the 3rd tournament, but it's coming at a slow rate because of the lack of time, also concerning this tournament.
So..Don't worry about the 3rd, i'm sure you'll will love it, and don't worry about this tournament as well..Deception is almost here, and there's a lot of hype around the site about it, and the tournament thread is being pushed down to pg3 etc,.. sometimes it may feel like there's noone here, don't worry..it should come back to normal.
The tournament site will be updated soon, so keep in touch.

No, KaTian didn't engage any kinds of eye channeling power or mind control on Nasha, but some may wonder if she did to herself....
Nasha didn't want to make the match look to easy, so she purposely hurt herself to give KaTian a small chance, but it still resulted in the same way. Nasha didn't want to waste her time, so the match ended right there.

This thread is down to pg4 now..i'm going to ask you'll if you'll want to pause the tournament or resume the tournament. You can vote if you want to keep it going, and i'll gladly do so, and if you want to pause it, give an approximate date to when you would like to have the tournament unpaused.
I am saying this, cause with mk:d coming out soon, in 2 months..there has been lots of threads on the site, and people have been real busy..and this thread has gone all the way to pg4. So, it's pointless if i keep updating and it keeps going back to pg4 so quickly.If this thread was made a sticky, then we'd have no problems, and then made non-stickied later on, as the 3rd tournament would be unmasked.
So, place your votes..i'd like to hear from you'll.

I vote to keep it going. There's been to many delays already. (This is, of course, no one's fault. For all of the reasons you mentioned above Brodeur.)

While I do agree it has been slow lately,I think it should keep going.

I vote to continue the tournament as well. Things will improve for this tournament after MK: Deception's release; I am completely positive of this.
