Well, if you said you got JAX007's permission, then I guess this thread is ok =).
As for the coloring job, I think it's well done. For both of the characters. Kabal's coloring is good, you put just the right amount of color into it.
Kenshi, is looking great, but I don't like the fact that you colored both of his legs all red =/. His feet should of been black(darkgray?).
Good work .

Um Hyuga, Acj meant posting things that belong to people w/ out them knowing and getting all the kredit, and it doesn't belong to you.

Alright, well, this is somewhat better than your other attempt; but each could still use some amount of work.
Kenshi: I like this one better out of the two, so I'll start here. Firstly, I like how this time you didn't color over alot of the details with one solid color. The 'dragon' on the right side of his chest was my favorite detail in the original drawing, and this is basically the color I wanted to see it in. I also liked how you outlined it, makes it bolder in my opinion. I would have rather seen his other accessories a bit different color, because its hard to see the original depth of the cloths with the dark red you used. I do like how you managed to use that one basic color for the accessories, but I feel the dragon should have been that color, and the remainder of the accessories could have been a bit lighter in color. Also, you again overused the lighting effects. They are a bit too random, and dark in some places. Try to identify a common light source, because I really don't see much of one here. The blindfold is actually very nice though, not really an overuse of shadows there. But its a bit hard to see where it 'wraps-around', it is darkened decently, but again that color is very dark. The hair color was pretty well chosen, you did an okay job keeping most of the original details in the picture.
The coloring to the sword is pretty nice, the color of the handle seems fitting for Kenshi. Traditional, and I believe that style is pretty fitting for this character. The blade isn't bad, perhaps too much shadows again, but the color choices were alright. I don't particularily like the way you did the legs though, this is one part where shadows and such would have been neccesary. The way most every shadow here matches in color makes this look unrealistic, there has to be varying depths and shades to achieve a better result. On another note, I think you should have chosen a different background. Usually, especially if you are coloring just a character, the character itself should stand out from the background. But here you used a reddish mix of colors, and since you colored Kenshi partly red, I don't think it was a good idea to go with a background of the same general color. Anyhow, other than the few things I mentioned, this is the way I imagined this would be colored. So you didn't do a bad job.
Kabal: Well, to be honest, the original is my favorite character concept JAX007 has did, and that in itself is saying something. I really wanted alot more in this colored version. The main thing, the respirator. You colored it that one shade of dark gray/light black. But think about this, it is a respirator, so obviously it is a machine. I was expecting to see silvers and other metallic colors involved. The hose COULD have been this color you used, but not the mask, and most defiantly not the cylinder on his belt. Like I said, use metallic like colors if you are coloring metallic objects.
Another thing is the bright white tanktop. This was nearly the exact opposite of what I thought it would be. To me, this Kabal is far too twisted and evil looking for just plain white. That goes for the armbands as well. I must say, you did a pretty good job with the muscles and face though, except of course for the random shadowing. It isn't as random of the other, but still its a bit unrealistic looking. Anyhow, I like how you preserved the eyes, as they were one of my favorite parts to this. His right eye's iris seems sort of smudged, but you did a nice job with the head (not the amsk) overall. I do think you put a bit much emphasis on his right breast, makes him look too flabby there.
As for the lower part of his body, well again I didn't really imagine these colors. Yes, I know that in MK3 Kabal's pants were similar to this, but I never really cared for that color. Like I said, this Kabal seems darker I think. The color on the pants is also a bit solid in some areas. The kneepads and boots are okay, but the color looks exactly like the color of the glove. I'd rather them be darker I think, using ths sane color can be boring. Again, you did a decent job with the hookswords here, pretty solid of an attempt I think. Overall, even though it wasn't what I expected originally, it isn't bad, and I like soe aspects of it.
These colorings are a bit better than before, I see an improvement. Also, glad to see you got permission this time.

wow thanks for the in depth crit crow i really really appreciate it, i agree on most of the things u said
Shadowing - i am aweful at this as i cannot see in my head where shadows should fall on a person... but i am about to take life classes so hopefully that will help
colouring - i like the colouring on kenshi as it is very close to his original one, i also like the way i coloured kabal, basically i dunno why i thought it but as soon as i saw the lineart i said.... white shirt, it is very slightly off grey if u look at it closely, i mean nothing is bright white.
anyway yeah i thank you for all ur crit, it shows people are payin attention to the work
