I'm going to be completely frank with you for a moment. I like your first drawing submimssion better than all your fakes. I like it.

This sort of reminds me of Shang Tsung a bit, like his MK1 design. As you mentioned about the arms, its not perfect. The left arm is in an odd position. I like how is is 'hovering' very cool looking. And you but a shadow under him, you remembered shadows from your fake pics no doubt . Anyway I also love the weapon, it looks extremely cool, one of my favorite parts of this. The costume is a bit bland, but the BG this character is in blows that all away.

Seriously, the background is beautiful, one of my favorites I've seen on drawings here. From the crumbling stone block wall, do the cracked pillars; its all very well done. The amount of details for it are amazing, I really like the vines that are growing at the top of the drawing, very nice indeed. I don't think your drawing looks cartoonish at all, not that cartoonish is a bad thing, but your style doesn't seem very cartoonish to me. Very cool stuff, and it does rival your best fakes at being your best submission yet. I think you should do both from time to time.

THIS one is not a cartoonish drawing, but my second submission is. I don't draw realisticly that often.

Although the vampire character isn't that detailed, it's drawn well enough, as the scenery around him is drawn so well. Whenever I draw a character and try to add scenery around it, the scenery makes the picture look ten times worse than however good or bad it was before. This is the exact opposite. The wall is my favorite part of the drawing. Keep it up, I'll be submitting some of my sketches soon.

Wow....that scenery is absolutely amazing! Especially those details in the wood and the shading. And the trees. The details of the stone, so much texture! I gave this a 4.5/5. I'm sorry to be so harsh, but your character concept here does not do the scenery justice.
