I would have to say, when someone doesn't specify that it's an MK comic strip reliant upon sprites or graphics from the game, I'm always a little disappointed.
With some of the talented artists around, I sometimes get my hopes up for 'real' comics.

With all the "effort" you put into making that teaser, you probably could've made the actual comic instead. What's the point of even making a teaser for a comic strip?

Usually, if its for an actual comic series, it makes sense. But not for a single one.

This is only a recent thing though; years ago, when more MK comics were being made here, nobody made teasers, they just started it off. Lately, any comic that has a teaser never lasts more than one strip. Heck, some people only wind up making teasers, and that's it.

It does seem especially unusual when it's not immediately followed up on. I went with a faux-teaser and #1, because it really isn't like it's a major production of original material.
Speed seems like the justification.

Yeah this teaser shit is pretty bad. If it's so big, why didnt you just make the comic itself? We dont want to see advertisements leading up to the big debut of the comic, this isn't the real entertainment world.
Also, I fail to see what's funny about this. I dont think you even put any jokes in...? Not trying to be mean, I really don't remember reading any jokes at all, not even bad ones, in the comic, so what can be funny about this? And the premise of the storyline is basically MKA's, so this ''teaser/comic/whatever'' really has zero value in creativity.

Man, the comic better be good.
