The effects look pretty good.

I don't see any shadows though, and it looks like the snake is coming out of shang's arm pit.

You could have used a different pose to avoid that.

Effects are pretty cool. It looks kinda sharp at the head of the dragon though. It might be the low-quality jpeg or something. Besides that, it looks pretty good. I would just say that you should have given Shang a different stance, fix up fire, and add shadows. Really cool fake.

You could have done a lot better. Just smudging around "cool" effects isn't good enough anymore. The sprites don't even damn fit with what's supposed to be happening. Would it have killed you to attempt to make a Quan Chi sprite? Have you even seen the damn intro? If you have, you should watch it again so you know how to make a better fake.

Remember in the intro how Shang had to absorb souls in order to power his Fire Snake? Thats why the souls are there for anyone wondering.

ACTUALLY, Shang Tsung absorbed the soul in order to get his strength back to shoot a fireball at Raiden ,knocking him down. AFTER THAT he summoned the Fire Snake. Your score just dropped to 0/5.
