As always, I like your style. You don't add those photoshop effects that don't even match with MK's art style. You keep it simple which makes the "fake" believable to newbs... just like fakes were meant to be.

If these ideas come from Jaded-Raven, I suggest not using that persons ideas again. I know you got it in you bro.

Jade's kiss made him to jade stone thus shattering him to bits. Jaded-Raven idea had Jade touching her opponent into stone and slicing her opponent quickly. I felt that didn't fit Jade so I went with a different version of Kitana's fatality.

But you're right, no idea is original. That's why I suggest people email me if they got any ideas.

No illussion... this isn't one of those once-a-year surprise posts. As long as MK games don't suck I'll be sticking around.

If you want some ideas of animations, I'll try to find some old fakes that I made which consisted of 4 frames (to give viewers an idea of the before, during, and after the fatality).

I'll even throw together some simple fakes for ideas sake when I get bored enough.

Quite the contrary, señorita. BlackSaibot was helpful in reminding me that I could do so much better. A true statement, no different from the first time he told me that when I first joined the MK community around 2001 and started making fake pics. My skills were piss poor to boot but BlackSaibot helped me gain the confidence I needed to keep going. And not only that, but he inspired me a lot because his criticism was real and stood out from anyone else in this forum's heyday of fake pic making.

I actually kind of like the idea. Mostly because I see Boon back in the 90s adding such a last-minute, thrown-together "wtf this makes no sense" idea for a fatality just for the sake of meeting the deadline. It's got retro quality, which is MK's bread and butter these days (you know, apart from the violence).

Technically, the animation's a bit choppy - the words at the start flash by too quickly while the fatality itself seems slow at times (for eg, compare the kissing to the uppercut explosion). There are also some frames where her top changes from light to dark green, you might wanna watch out for that.

Other than that, i likes. Great to see some animations again.

I like how you keep the effects to be for the game and don't put in photoshops that we know were not in the older MKs. Very cool and something that I feel is lost on most fake/animation artists.
With that being said though, yeah, the "turning him into jade" isn't that hot an idea. If I could submit an idea to you, I would, but I'm sure you'll find inspiration soon.
