AWARDS:
Contestants will be awarded dragon points to increase their status at MKOnline. Finalists and the Champion will be awarded extra dragon points. Creative Posts for fight matches and interaction within the storyline development will also be awarded dragon points. This method is the easiest to earn dragon points, therefore, the points will be less here unless you come up with a real good one.
P.S. Like before we had jax007 draw out characters for the finalists, if he wishes on staying with us and continue drawing for the future of Mortal Kombat is up to him, since he is a die hard Kombatant. I wish him the best of luck in his work and hope he stays.

TOURNAMENT:
The tournament as usual will begin with the acceptance of character entries. If you need to know what criteria you would need in order to develop your character, you can check the section below under Character Rules. Once your character is ready and you think you have what it takes to be crowned God of the tournament, you can register your character in the tournament by simply private messaging it to myself(Brodeur) and if ~Crow~ is willing to do the same you could pm it to him as well. This method is used so that users will not be aware of the characters competing in the tournament. If your character is already finished ahead of schedule, and you would like to pre-register your character, you can once again pm it to me, or ~Crow~.
There will be 4 worlds in the tournament. These 4 worlds are represented by the 4 judges. This tournament should be expecting 32 contestants. With an average of 8 characters in each world. The determination will be random for where each character will be placed. According to that, each character will then have to get along with the others in the story. The 4 worlds will have to either all like before create their stories in 1 thread, or have 4 threads for the different worlds. but then..we don't like to create too many threads. Let's assume that we will be using 1 thread like before. These threads like before will have plots and storylines designed by you the user/contestants. When you do post a message, you need to confirm and type which world you are in, so that users don't get confused. Now, the world that you will be in, will be managed by one of the 5 judges. 4 Judges will be in charge of the worlds, like elder gods, looking down from above. Judges can now get involved in the storyline, and also have a chance in earning dp's. Judges can create their own character as well, but cannot perform in the tournament. This character is to help with the storyline and play along and get involved with the characters. Judges will also have something else to do besides that...I can't say what it is right now..but it will take place on the match when there's 2 characters left in a world.

THE BJE:
The bracket judging entry system will be one of the first things in the tournament after registering your characters. This section like before will take place as characters keep getting registered. Only their names will be displayed again, so users will not know yet what their capabilities would be. Only myself and Crow will look upon this. and maybe the judges. Once the 32 character slots have been filled up the BJE will be over and then we will randomize the characters into the 4 worlds. Only 1 user can enter a character at a time, at a later date if slots are not being filled, there will be a chance like the 2nd tournament, where users can enter 2 characters. We will now be watching for clones as we do have insight with the help of ~Crow~, the mk online forum moderator.
This hasn't been a major part of the tournament, but it takes place before the tournament setup takes place, as i have replaced a character that belonged to a friend of mine because he could not create one, and instead given the spot to Chrome and his character Templar, as i can now reveal the characters in the upcoming and current tournament.

THE 4 WORLDS:
Each world will be controlled and looked over by a judge. Each judge will be given the chance to create their own character to help with the story. Before the tournament begins, each world will fight amongst themselves(Pre-Tournament Battles) to get a feeling of what they might expect in the future. The characters will get to know each other more this way. Characters will not face other characters from other worlds until later. During the battles in each world, contestants will get a chance to fight every character in their world. These matches are different than regular matches we've seen before. This gives your character an actual chance to gain a record before going into the actual tournament. We judges do not have power over each others' worlds, except myself and Crow. But we'll still be involved in voting. Now the way these battles will work, is much more interactive than just voting. You, the user and contestant, will have to make a match scene for your fight. This will result in 2 fight scenes. Then, we judges will determine which one is better and declare a winner by votes. These votes will be based upon point system voting as mentioned below.
Points will be given for :style:fairness:strategy:etc...each category earns a player a point if they win that category. You will create the fight scene using the arena given to you, it'll either be the arena you created for your character, or the arena your opponent created for your character. The matches will be scheduled as eg.Ryoko vs Gabrielle. Date:June 22,2005. Location:Gabrielle's Palace. Note: These matches are only filler matches to gain a record. This record will determine your rank in your world. There will be 8 matches, one for each character and the home playing field will be given equally to the characters. After the matches have taken place, and the standings have been confirmed, the tournament in each world begins. This time, like usual, the judges will vote normally, except differently. We will base the characters upon points. Thanks To ~Crow~ for the idea. The Winner of a best-out-of-7 point system will take place this time. For eg. Ryoko vs Gabrielle. Ryoko: 1 point for better look, 1 point for better special moves, etc. Gabrielle:1 point for better story, etc. The winner will be based on the first person to get 4 points. After that, a judge will have their vote placed, and the best out of 5 or 7 votes will win the match. Now there's a little change in this section too, once the final 2 characters in each world face each other, they don't exactly face each other. They face something else, something which the judges create. And I'm sure you'll will like this one. The match will take place at the judges' arena. Both contestants will have to prepare a fight scene against this creation. And the winner will be declared just like the record matches.

Medals:
During The Tournament Bracket, after a character defeats another character, that character will be awarded a medal, a special logo only to the winners besides their character. There are different types of medals awarded to these contestants. There is a medal awarded to the winner with a dragon symbol on it, and if the winner barely makes the win, he/she will be awarded a 1/2 medal victory, and a KO medal will be received to the winner who blows away the opponent. So, as the tournament processes to the later stages, we will know how the character has done in the tournament by comparing each others' medals.
