Uh.hmm he must be busy or forgot..or not one of his main priorities anyways..was hoping this would have been finished by now or at least this month..so then i can take over again for the next one..well..just have to wait till Crow finishes this one.

I'm not sure if it's Crow as much as it most of the judges and users. I think the biggest fault with this edition is that it's just way too long.

yea, you're probably right, i was thinking about that too, but having the pre-eliminary matches do determine a characters' standings and gives the user a better chance of surviving. But i don't mind if you'll want to go back to the old format without having the pre-eliminary matches. ;) Edit: or i was thinking of bringing back the fight scenes instead of pre-eliminary matches. Just for the next tournament that is, to see how it does. I wanna give it a chance.

You can't have a contest without voters and/or judges, people. The final judge just PMed me tonight; unless I am given judge choice control, this is most certainly not my fault. Eight user votes is simply not very fair either... I cannot force judges to give me their votes promptly, and I also cannot force users to vote here, though I do try. By the way, pre-eliminary are very important in my opinion. Would you really like undeserving characters to end up in the final because of a "lucky" seeding? Or would you rather the *right* characters be given their proper positions so the best results are almost promised? A lack of pre-eliminary matches also favours vote rushes, as some users will ask their friends to vote for them under any circumstances. I highly doubt most of you would like your character to lose because someone decided to rally their friends.

The speed of this tournament depends upon the judges and user votes, not me. I am here each and every day. I simply want enough votes for the results to be fair... and honestly, this isn't going to cut it. But if you guys want to sacrifice fairness for speed, that's just fine with me...

For the record, this tournament has been generally faster than the second one. The second tournament was far slower, and it had less characters, no qualifying matches and no sub-bosses.

Good points Crow. Glad we have someone like you. Well, honestly..some people just want to see the end of the tournament..so doesn't matter to em. But, like you said, i think we should still keep the preeliminary matches. Good points there as well. nice find on the time each tourney has been running. Anyways..i guess the only way like you said to make it go fast without sacrificing the matches would be user/judge votes. Anyways..thanks.

Despite a very poor performance with the viewers, Tempest cleans up with the Judge votes and prevents the upset from happening. Unfortunately, the viewer voting in the Saika/Delta match was less than stellar... only 4 votes I could count. Regardless, once again the judge votes turn the tables and decide the outcome of the match. With those votes, Delta scores a mild upset in a close match.
